Great overnight stop. Vonda the owner was super friendly. Well maintained park, but no bathrooms, which was fine for our MH. Close to the highway, but quiet in the coach. Cute decor. First time an RV park has shared a rug at the site!

Except lacking bathrooms, this was a great campground, right next to I-10. Vonda, the host, was memorable and great. We followed her to our campsite and she put down a small rug to step on at our doorstep.

This is park is super clean and conveniently located off of I10. Great trails and nice big dog park. I can’t tell enough on what a nice and pleasant person Ms.Vonda (owner) is. In this trip we logged on 10,000 miles on our RV and by far the best customer service I’ve received yet! She meet us out front quickly checked us in and took us to our site. Laid out a small mat at the door of our RV and made herself available at all times. I inquired about purchasing ice and she told me that she did not sell ice but that the quick stop in the corner sold ice and that she would pick up a bag for me. Who the hell does that!!! Vonda you get an A+ for customer service...You Rock!!!!

Nice over night stop on I-10. Loves travel center at same exit. Road to campground was a little rough but not a problem if you take your time. Owner greeted us at the entrance. Pull through site was very well maintained and level. Close to interstate so for some road noise may be a problem. Seemed to quiet down in the evening. WiFi didn’t seem to work for me. Cell coverage was excellent. Verizon had 4 bars. Cell tower for three carriers was on the campground so others should seem similar coverage. Would stay again for overnight stay.

WONDERFUL !!!!!!! Meticulously maintained. Super nice gal. Easy on/off I-10. Food and gas close by. Sites FLAT pea gravel with GRASS yes, step out of ur camper onto soft grass. Couple of horses that love people. Plenty of room for kids to play. Kids will go nuts. Will stop every time I’m on I-10. My new best friend doesn’t charge enuff. But she’s built a beautiful campground that she can be very proud of.

Super cute little place and the owner Vonda was the best! Even brought us a welcome mat for outside our coach door. We have a 45’ Allegro bus and towing a 3/4 ton pickup- total of 68’ long and our site was more than long enough. Trust the directions from freeway- 1st right. You will cross railroad tracks. Dillon Rd looked like dirt but it wasn’t. Great overnight stay!

Stayed one night but would stay again - the owner is really friendly and accommodating - she is working really hard to fix it up after hurricane Michael. They took time to make the park a great place to stay even though there is road noise.

Back again and as always very warming very welcoming very clean very pet friendly very family-friendly and as usual the owner was working cutting trees and splitting firewood this Time lol finished her 3d fence it looks amazing she now has the horse and pony up front as you come in the entrance and yes they're still looking for treats from every friendly guests passing by they're working on the lake area now preparing monster truck course that should be really fun to watch or ride or drive LOL water pond is looking great we even added a little keepsake for her to remember us by she works so diligently and so tirelessly I'm glad to see that she's finally able to enjoy doing something for a change besides work. with every visit we're so amazed that she's able to do all this and still greet everyone with a smile and a kind heart, no matter what it is going on , no matter what time or day it is no matter how bad she feels no matter how much money They May or may not have you can always count on the smile that you're greeted with and the kind heart that makes sure your stay is perfect safe and relaxing .she is tough and such a blessing to all who enter her Park we're here for a week once again and once again I highly recommend this beautiful Campground.

,,We enjoyed this campground so much that we now plan it on our travel route, the owner Vonda is very kind and caring, she goes beyond to make our stay pleasant. We use a pull thru spot with our rig, it is easy in and out. While there we enjoy the beautiful grounds, our elderly dog enjoyed the pet area, we did too! There is an area where we can see horses, it is very convenient off of I-10 and a loves gas station is nearby before the entrance. We look forward to our next stop there.

Hitchin Post RV Campground My wife and have just completed another stay at the Hitchin Post. Over the last twelve months we have stayed at numerous RV parks and campgrounds across the U.S.. Without any hesitation, we both can say that the Hitchin Post is our favorite place to camp. The Hitchin Post is less the a mile off of the interstate, very big rig friendly, less the a hour from the beach and great shopping, kid and pet friendly, the list goes on and on. The owner is on site and does everything possible to ensure her guests have a very pleasant stay, while continuing to make improvements to the park. We have stayed at this location many times over the last couple of years and we will be going back again in the near future. In our opinion, the Hitchin Post is truly a 5 Star park.
