PATRIOT GATE ON LEMAY IS CLOSED. If you follow the instructions they send you in an email for getting on base. You will do just fine. We have a 37 foot travel trailer and went through the main gate, off exit 67B. We had no problems as long as we followed the instructions that were given to us in the email. We were in the overflow for only $20 a night and it was very easy to get in and out of. Went to the movie theater, that鈥檚 always fun and entertaining. Free laundry and the bathrooms and showers were cleanish.

This is a beautiful little post. Most of the challenge was finding a gate that was open. Make sure that you only use the liberty/Davis Road entrance. We tried our truck driving Garmin app to the patriot gate. It was closed. We tried our RV LIFE app, It took us to deadend just outside the gate. Save yourself a lot of trouble and get off of I 90 at 67B take that road straight all the way in to the Post gate you鈥檒l be on liberty and it鈥檒l turn in into Davis once you get to the base we have a 40 foot RV with a 13.6 height was no problem getting in through the gate. Famcamp itself is beautiful no problem getting a big rig in and out.

Ellsworth famcamp is a must stay on any bucket list! Clean, spacious, friendly and close to all the parks and Attractions. There is so much to do. The weather is Amazing and the daily flights are great! This famcamp will be on our frequent list. Treat yourself and your family to one of the best places around!

$54 a night. Free laundry , free Wi-Fi good for Netflix , clean bathrooms , spacious lots. Can park trailer and truck. Many big rigs had no problems. Concrete pads. If you want cheaper you can get just electric site for $15 and fill with water and use dump site.

Stayed here in the past years ago and it was nice. Called to make reservations last month and was informed the rates are now 57 dollars a night. WHAT!!!! Was informed the 芒鈧�艙counsel芒鈧�聺 voted to increase the rates. Which we informed them the counsel must be crazy! It芒鈧�鈩�s not a resort芒鈧�娄it芒鈧�鈩�s a military campground for the love of Mike! Will not be staying at this location any time soon.

Basing my review on service. We arrived to checkin & was told we could not check in until 2 pm. I get that if it is full & busy this is a good rule. It is 95* & we were told to go park along the side of the road until 2 pm. So with your vacancy signs lit up & several empty spots we are parked on the side of the road running our generator until 2 pm. This says we don芒鈧�鈩�t really care about you! At 45.00 a night we will find other options next time!!

Great campsite, once you can figure out how to get there. Go to the main gate-other gates may appear open on the base website, but they are not. (Hence 4 stars)Good site, afternoon shade. Bathrooms were clean, good hot water. Bunnies, deer and nice neighbors!

We LOVED this campground, mostly due to the beauty on the base. Great walking trails with dogs. Check in was a breeze coming in after hours. Bathhouse & laundry were clean. Sites were easy to back into. Paved site & nice picnic table. Close to commissary and shopette. Small campground but had overflow to help. Booked 2 nights and were able to stay a 3rd without having to move. Nice office area.

I gave it two stars for one reason. This is purely an RV campground. I rode in on a motorcycle with no reservation. Read the instructions and self registered. $5.00 for a tent site. Let me list the 2 star reasons: 1. NO, I mean NO tent shade. It芒鈧�鈩�s 95 out here and the only trees are in the RV sites. 2. There芒鈧�鈩�s no water in the tent sites only in the bathroom at the drinking fountain, which brings me to the next point. 3. The bathhouse, while clean with showers, is 200 yards from the tents! The only people that didn芒鈧�鈩�t bring a bathroom with them are the farthest away from the services they require. And last. 4. There is NO tent parking, and you芒鈧�鈩�re NOT allowed to park on the grass! Hope this helps. In closing, great RV place, bad for tents.

Great overnight stay. Level concrete pad. Came in late Saturday did a self checking. October 2021. Base was quiet. Only found a bistro on base no other food options. Gas station and Commissary useful.
