Great park near the beach! Warning have no less than 2 lengths of water hose and 50 ft of electric service cord. In all our travels 45 states have never seen hook up like this at least on our lot . Not all sites have sewer . Nice camp ground well taken care of, not a Rv park , dirt roads, gravel or dirt pads .Road noise .

Great location for touring Pictured Rocks! This campground has a lovely shoreline, great for rockhounds and watching the sunset. There are many spots located close to the beach. However, campsites are very close to one another. Some sites do have full hook ups, but they are hard to come by. Most are water and electric only. Bring an extra water hose and electric cord as some pedestals are far from the actual site. We did watch some folks have trouble trying to make their connections. Sites and roads are gravel. Sometimes there was quite a bit of dust being kicked up. Showers and toilets were good. There was plenty of hot water and showers were clean. Nice little campground store and friendly staff. Munising is a nice town with some good restaurants. You can catch a boat tour of pictured rocks just down the highway. Many beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails in the area. If you like coffee, chocolate, muffins, and books check out falling rock caf茅 and bookstore in Munising.

Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Munising Tourist Park. Getting to the campground was OK. The roads in the campground are gravel or dirt and in very bad condition. Many low spots, very muddy. Tree trimming was OK, but 76 - 80 look like they need trimming. The campground office was open and everyone was friendly. Small camp store. There is a small parking area near the office. No escort to site, but they provide a map and road signage to our site was adequate. Sites have fire pits and they sell firewood. Our site was 28, a back in site with a gravel drive and grass patio area, with a picnic table. Due to the trees, no good views of the lake. Our site was level. The site was dry but very dirty and when it rained, dirt would splash up on RV. We did not notice any seasonal folks. There is a bathhouse, but the smell of poop was always in the air. No pool. No rec room. No workout fitness room. No deli on site. The grounds are unsightly. No cable tv. No over air antenna. Wifi was good and we could stream. Poor Verizon cell service, but it did work. Here is the bad. Campground is unsightly, smells bad and is very muddy. No pool or recreation facility. Too much dirt on sites. Need gravel laid down. Although the campground is directly on the lake, it is not worth it. I would not come back. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

Looong stretch for power and water. Four sites connected to post. Bathrooms ok, cleaned daily. No WiFi although they advertise 鈥淔ree WiFi鈥. Big grassy sites. Park is located on Lake Superior. Road noise.

We had rv site 73 right on the Lake. Couldn芒鈧劉t beat it for the price. Stayed 5 days. We could hear waves all night long. No traffic noise like other comments. Fire ring on lakeside so we could have a fire while watching magnificent sunsets. Launched my kayak and swam right from my site. Very clean beach and walkable. Staff was friendly. Close to Pictured Rocks Kayaking, Shipwreck Tours, Muldoons. Not walkable to Munising but 5 min car ride. 22 minutes to hiking Pictured Rocks at Miner芒鈧劉s Castle. Only 2 cons芒鈧漮ur hookups, including sewer, were right in our neighbors front yard at their front mat and the bathrooms weren芒鈧劉t that clean. Otherwise, FANTASTIC stay. Would stay again!

Nice park, bit too dusty for me.(many campers driving too fast) Staff could benefit tremendously taking a course in customer service. Very much a take it or stick it attitude.

Charged us $40 for electric only site. The water pipe was broken in our site. Loud road traffic all night. Very limited view of the lake even if you had a spot right at the lake. Staff not the most helpful around here. Would NOT stay here again.

This is a solid 4! Big level sites either on the lake front or within feet of it. Big fire rings! Great staff! Beautiful!

We like state campgrounds. This is a worn campground. Streets some asphalt, most sand and gravel. You will hear road noise constantly in the back half. Highway 28 is 30芒鈧劉 from sites Sitting outside to relax is not an option Only tree sites are on right side and on lake. Only scenic sites are one the lake, otherwise just looking at campers. Sites are larger than normal but people set RV wherever, on the gravel pad, on the grass, perpendicular to the pad. Dump station. did not use bathrooms. It is cheap compared to others, but I would not stay again. Would pay more to relax. It is close to towns, boat tours etc.

Really liked it here, super closed to the Lake and the sunsets were awesome. The water spigots though! Hooking up here is a bit of a puzzle. But they have some extra water hose and try to accommodate as well as they can. Showers near the dump station were individual and as far as I could tell, only one was able to fit someone over 5 foot and that was the handicapped stall. I would stay here again.
