There鈥檚 a phone number you can call for reservations now. I had a nice shady site and wi-fi worked fine. Well run campground!

One on top of another RV camping although not as bad as some others. Priced fair at $51 per night full hookups, even with the usurious Maine occupancy tax + local taxes for 14%. Amenities are plentiful as others have said previously. WiFi nonexistent (thankfully). Bus service into Bar Harbor village is free. All and all not bad.

We were a little skeptical of a first-come-first-serve park, but it worked out great. Got to the park around 10am, several sites to choose from. Picked a site, very secluded, water and electric for a 39ft, Class A motorhome. So good, we extended our stay another 4 days for a total of seven days. Only 4 miles from Acadia National park entrance. Would definitely stay here again.

This is my kind of campground. Craig and staff are friendly and accommodating. I like the no-reservation policy because I never know where I am going next. I got there early and got a site with no problems. Shuttle service to Acadia took me and my bike without a glitch. My brother and sister-in-law and their Bassett Hound ended up joining me and it was easy to extend our stay. Grounds and facilities are well maintained and the laundry room was the best I have seen. I am looking forward to going back.

We liked this campground. The 芒鈧搉o reservations芒鈧 policy did induce some anxiety but it worked out okay. No problem finding an empty dry camping site for the first night and we found a water-electric site the next morning. Spacious sites, convenient to Acadia. Be advised that they do not allow generator use at all in the dry camping sites, unfortunately. Camped here in a Class C.

The good; most everything, prior reports are accurate. Have come to love no-reservation policy when extending stay, have made 2 trips here this year and planning a third Not good; wifi consistently weak no matter how close to bath area repeaters. Please invest in stronger system! Cell signal is decent

This was a very pleasant surprise. One of the best run parks we have been to. They don芒鈧劉t take reservations but there are plenty of sites. We were able to get a bay view site that was lovely. Park has everything you need. Clean showers/bathrooms, pool, playground for the kids, dog trail, people trails and awesome stall. We ended up staying 4 night and hated to leave. 5 min to Acadia NP. Awesome wood fired pizza down the street as well as a brewery. Will definitely come back!

This was my favorite campground of this summer芒鈧渟 trip. After two nights in a lower camp spot we were able to move up to the ocean view. There were wild blueberries all around us. There芒鈧劉s a nice pool, very clean. There are only a couple of bath houses and the rest of the bathroom facilities are Porta potty芒鈧渟. The views are amazing and the staff is very friendly. They actually cleaned out our fire place every day! The only correction I would make is they advertise 2 miles from bar Harbor Inn and they are actually 4 1/2 miles from the village of Bar Harbor, so don芒鈧劉t think you can walk there quickly! Wi-Fi is a little iffy in many locations. The spaces are generous with lots of trees. I was a little worried about first come first serve, but it did not seem to be a problem except on Friday and Saturday nights.

Very nice campground. It is in fact the closest one to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. There is only one row of actual ocean view with about 7 sites. Everything Near the ocean view that is full hookup is 30 amp. The 50 amp locations are near the entrance and have no view. Most of the full hookup sites have little or no shade. Campsites are moderately sized with fire pits, ok for big rigs, but a little tight for rigs above 36ft. Cost was about $40 full hookups. Very friendly and helpful staff. There are no reservations which is a little hard on the cross country travelers. I had to take a water/electric site the first night then move second day to full hookups.

Had a great experience here. First site was decent, a little slanted but after first night got lucky and grabbed a site up front along the ocean view. CG is first come first served which is a little eccentric but worked out in our favor. Weak WiFi but had good cell service. Great spot to explore Acadia and Bar Harbor. Very easy to navigate and nice facilities. (Pool/showers/playground/store). Would definitely stay again.
