Wonderful campground. We stayed up top which had a nice view. Bathrooms super clean. You do have to pay 25 cents for 5 minutes (I needed 2 quarters but I like a long shower) and water was good and hot. Close to Acadia and bus will pick you up at campground. We were surprised how busy it was in September since the kids are back in school but everything was busy. Sunrise on Cadillac mountain was amazing. Go early to get a parking spot

This is one of the nicest camp sites we have visited with clean well maintained sites and facilities. Also great views from the higher part of the property. Golf carts go by in the morning to clean up all the sites that just vacated! Very convenient for both access to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. In fact, the bus for the park stops right at the office of the campsite, so you don’t even need to drive to visit the Park. Highly recommended.

Kind of unusual not to make a reservation but we were lucky. They take no reservations so it is first come first serve. Works well if you want to extend your stay too. Arrived and the staff were very friendly and told us to drive through to locate a site that would accommodate us. We located a 50 AMP FHU and were able to stay. Site was gravel and quite off level, but it worked and even were able to get our Satellite. WIFI is very good, to the point of about the best we have gotten at a campground. Very cheap considering the prices of other places in the area. $46.00 for 50 Amp FHU. Would stay again.

Nice place with all kinds of spots, shady, sunny, full hook ups, or no hook ups. Every spot YOU get to choose everyone for the most part has their own space to enjoy. Great for camping or stoping by.

June 2018 My wife and I have stayed here for 4 nights. Wonderful campground, best Wi-Fi of any campground we have stayed in. Very clean and quiet. Will stay here again and would recommend this campground to anyone.

This is a fine campground. It's big, busy, and up to the task. All types of hookups. Free shuttle service to park gives you all kinds of options. Great bathhouses, dump station, and whatever else you might need. Can have lobster dinners delivered from nearby restaurants. Unbelievably quiet for such a large and busy campground. Some nice private sites and some so-so sites, but you get to pick. A great option for visiting park. If we had known that we would find a site, we would have booked a week instead of two nights, but we're going back to this campground. Friendly and helpful staff. Would give it a perfect rating, but I save those for the very best.

I was full of anxiety to try a site that didn't take reservations in the middle of summer. The employees were very helpful. They even cut a few branches to make sure our 38 foot RV would fit! We got here at noon but people come as early as 8am to wait for a spot.
