As a native resident returning to visit what you need to know after staying here is that this 鈥渞esort鈥 is on a polluted shipping canal in an extremely dangerous area. As you approach the entrance to the park you are greeted with a large homeless encampment/drug den under a bridge with a sketchy crowd and numerous daily drug deals happening in plan view. While the pictures tell one story the truth is that it is NOT safe for families and probably anyone for that matter. We have RV鈥檇 for years and will never return. Not worth risking the safety of a family or property and certainly not the experience you are hoping for as it is beyond the control of mgmt. You would be much better off at the KOA in River Ridge or one of the awesome full-amenity RV resorts in Ponchatoula on the North Shore.

3/20/23 the people were wonderful, the amenities were great for the price! The camp ground was super clean, and very dog friendly! Would highly recommend. Surrounding area is sketchy for sure, but what in New Orleans isn芒鈧劉t a lil sketchy!冒鸥陇拢冒鸥藴鈥毭芭嘎ぢ we will be back!

29ft motorhome pulling a toad. Stayed for 6 nights as part of a Fantasy RV rally. Nice park. In somewhat of an industrial area, but the park is fenced, gated and very attractive from within. There is a marina side as well. Paved roads and level gravel sites which stayed pretty dry despite some heavy rain. All hook ups worked. Nice laundry area and restaurant. Plenty of room to walk a dog. About a 15 min ride to downtown NOLA. Easy access off I-10. Would stay again. Note that the entry sign reads 芒鈧揘ew Orleans RV Park芒鈧 芒鈧 not Pontchartrain Landing 芒鈧 not sure if the name is changing or what .

Overall, pertty good. Staff was excellent, Resturant was descent, pool was nice and water views with boats good. It was close to the French Quarter. The bad, the road was too dusty, fine dust was everywhere. And, the bathroom showers were old. At the premium price I paid, I felt WIFI should have been included, but it was an extra charge. On. Good note, I received a military discount.

Interesting camp ground near some port facilities. I wasn芒鈧劉t sure what we would get once we turn off the highway. It ended up being a great location that was close to the city (easy for Uber/Lyft) yet quiet enough away from the rabble of bourbon street. It was easy to get in and out of with my 45 foot fifth wheel. Would stay there again. June 2021.

After three days of rain the park芒鈧劉s gravel roads were nearly impassable and a muddy mess. Park staff were respreading the gravel when we left but it芒鈧劉s futile because of poor drainage and the wrong type of gravel. Spreading the gravel won芒鈧劉t fix the mega size pot holes. We had to leave the park to find a level spot to connect our tow vehicle. Lack of internet is unacceptable. No shuttle because of Covid, the current excuse for less service and high prices.

Clean and well kept. Level gravel. Small clean pool area. Everyone very nice. No shuttle due to COVID but only 15 min drive to the quarter. A spot on the water is a must for extra room and good fishing.

Rented a week on RV waterfront lot to see family in the area. No internet as advertised, cable tv issues - sporadic on and off for no reason. Pool had leak and closed for a day - not their fault. Saw way too many rats, I should have got a hint to this when checking in as there were 4 Orkin trucks there. Park needs a lot of tlc and repairs to bring it back up to previous standard.

We are very much enjoyed our stay. Close to New Orleans, but out of the noise. You are able to relax with a great view of the river and activity. With the Coronavirus issue they were kind enough to let us leave early and refund our remaining few days. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant was great and so was Bingo night. We were in a 45芒鈧劉 motorcoach. Level gravel sites. Only complaint which is universal in the RV world was WIFI strength and Verizon only had 2 bars.

This is the first RV resort we have stayed at since starting our full time adventure. We liked everything about the place with the exception of WiFi. It was not usable from our spot. Very nice grill and bar, general store, and the staff were very helpful. Very close to the New Orleans lake front and the French Quarter. A shuttle is available making multiple trips per day. Restroom and laundry facilities were very clean and well maintained. The park is clean and quiet, and the price is very reasonable. We will be back as we pass through New Orleans in the future.
