The drive into this placer is HORRIBLE. Also don’t be deceived... nothing is paved. Rain brought huge potholes in the streets. Our RV and tow vehicle were extremely dirty after a one night stay.

Very weird area for RV park in an industrial area along water front. Once you’re there and inside the park it’s a great little space, well designed, maintained and clean. A little pricey at $75 per night for 50 amp pull-through. Bottom line, I’d stay here again if I REALLY wanted to be close to New Orleans.

We stayed at Pontchartrain Landing for 5 days for the 2018 New Orleans Jazz Festival. The location was easy to get to from I-10 coming from the east, since we avoided towing our 5th wheel through downtown New Orleans traffic. Agree with other reviewers about the potholes on France Road approaching the site, but OK if you go slow, and not that different from the poor condition of many other streets in this city. Check-in was easy and efficient. The restaurant and bar, with live music almost every night, were big pluses for this resort. Pool and hot tub were clean. We were in site 122 near the entrance, and the internet signal was OK too slow for streaming movies, but pretty reliable. For the $90/night price we paid, I would expect better. The roads and sites in the resort are all gravel, and a little dusty. Many of the palm trees looked dead. Not sure if this was because of earlier flooding in the area, or just lack of upkeep of the landscaping. Overall, I rate this campground 4 stars would be a 5 if not so pricey and the roads/pads were paved. I'd stay here again if I could get a better deal on the daily rate.

In very rough area, old industrial, but camp is secure. Great pull through. Cable was good but wifi unreliable. Good customer service. Very short haul to French Quarter. Good experience.

Very mixed review! As noted by other reviews the park is located along the wharf in a very sketchy Area. We got very turned around trying to find the park and noticed several other RV's lost trying to find the park during our visit. The staff is excellent and very helpful, the park is in good condition but the grounds get pretty muddy on rainy days. Location is good, it cost us $12 using Uber to get to the French Quarter. The shuttle never fit our schedule. Worst thing about the park is the road getting to the park.

EXCELLENT park. Pleasant & helpful staff. Lovely sites, can be a little snug. Shuttle to the French Quarter was convenient and priced right. We're going back!

Great Park. Nice setup at each site with flowering plants and trees lending a little privacy. Convenient to New Orleans, City Park and the Lake. On-site restaurant and bar is a great convenience if you don't want to venture out - which is good, because the location is a little isolated on an industrial canal. Music in the bar a few nights a week.
Gets a little muddy with heavy rain as all sites are gravel/dirt but not overly dusty. The road in is scary at first but, once you arrive, you'll be happy you did.
We stayed in a standard site in a 40' 5th Wheel.

This park is better than average. Some of these reviews are not really fair. It's not tight- the roadways are wide, and the RV parking spots are wider than usual as well. It is an industrial area, and the road leading up to the park is pretty rough. The park is clean and spacious, there is plenty of gravel in the road and on the sites, but the bathrooms are pretty minimal. Wifi is non existent. That said, it is just 20 minutes from the French Quarter and there is a grocery store around the corner. It looks a heck of a lot better than the "Downtown" RV Park, where there is an 8' wall with barbed wire on top.

We really enjoyed this RV park (also has cottages and live in houseboats) spaces are good size and we had no trouble with our 40ft 5th wheel with 4 slide outs. Clean grounds and friendly staff. They have a shuttle from park $6 per person all day. Cafe has really god food too ??

This place was rated pretty highly, but we were very disappointed. In fairness, it had rained a lot, so it was a muddy mess, but it just seems the place used to be much nicer but has let go considerable. Spaces are tight, and you must reserve in advance to get waterside. It's just rundown, bathrooms are awful. Even the restaurant at first seems very nice till you talk to the sloppy drunk at the bar. It goes downhill from there, the food, blech!
