Wow. Best campground ever; plus it’s only half the price of private. Shady (except the pull-throughs), large, well-spaced sites, great roads, super clean. It’s just beautiful here. Only about 20 sites have a sewer connection, but there are well-marked gray water dump areas (by bucket) throughout.

Someone gave these folks a lot of money recently, because the entire campground has been renovated. New Bathhouses, site borders, gravel, connections. The spacing is great. Site 28 has an amazing woods surrounding it. No sewer at this site. Many do have sewer. Pull throughs are big enough for 2 RV's!. The hiking here is tough but really nice and fun. Low phone signal, but it worked. Wonderful campground.

Stayed here two nights in April 2021. Well engineered, level campsites nicely spaced out among the trees. Very clean. Great trails right from the campground. We loved the waterfall trail thru the canyon. Will definitely be back.

Stayed an overnight (East Rim) on the way through. Great park to hike and views of canyon are beautiful. Drive up the mountain from I-75 may cause anxiety. My Class A with car on dolly wasn't too bad. Took our time. I will stay there again.

We have been here twice now and have loved it both times. The East rim campground is more like an RV parking lot but the west rim campground is really great. The only reason I don’t give it a 5 star rating is the lack of sewer sites and the long distance to the sewer dump, which even makes it hard to use a portable tank. There are gray water drains all throughout the campground, though. Trails from the campground give you full access to the canyon. Beautiful. Last time we went (a few weeks ago) it actually snowed!

Great campsite! Most sites on outside of loop (West Rim) are really nice. Lots of space between sites and nice view downslope into woods. Visited in mid November, so leaf color was very nice. Great trails and beautiful views of the canyon. Campsite host was very helpful.

What a beautiful area. Great hiking. We did the west rim trail about 5 miles, not super hard. Great staff and host. Clean. Sites are great. Ours was level, big(43). We liked the west over the east side. More trees here and more privacy . Would recommend this campground. Cell(Verizon) was quite good2-3 bars LTE. TV with antenna was great too.

Very pretty park, good hiking opportunities, the lack of traffic noise is remarkable.
Shower house in the west rim campground was old but clean.
We stayed at site number 36, anything under 26 feet would find it to be level.

Rained most of the weekend but the camp sites drain well. Camp host were very friendly. Clean restroom but old. Great place to hike. The trails are well taken care of. Will go back.
