Ok. I gave 2 stars for the beautiful setting!! We were smack dab in the middle of the park!! All we could get a year out!! The bad part is all the dang golf carts driven by kids under 16. Nothing was done about it & not even caring about a big rig coming at them. Just drove right next to our rig! Even trying to back into our sight!! Just a bunch of "privileged idiots ". We left early without refunds!! Wanted away from the crazies and crowds!! Never again!!

Clean, large sites. Ours had a fireplace but others had a great view of the mountains and the lake. Should go once if you can get in. It鈥檚 booked over a year ahead.

Called me at 10:52 to make sure I knew what time checkout was, yes I know how to read thank you!! I guess when you stay booked customer service isn芒鈧�鈩�t that important.

We stayed at Anchor Down for several nights in August 2021. This is our 4th visit and they never disappoint. We have a 35 ft fifth-wheel and never had a problem maneuvering in the campground or parking. The sites a spacious and many offer a view of the lake. The amenities are the best we芒鈧�鈩�ve seen. The lake is HUGE and I highly recommend renting their pontoon boat for a day of fun on the water. All of the staff are kind and courteous and work from sun up to sun down to keep the park in tip top shape. There芒鈧�鈩�s also a great mix of families and seniors. The dog park is the best we芒鈧�鈩�ve seen. Can芒鈧�鈩�t wait to go back!

We stayed at Anchor Down in our 25芒鈧�鈩� motor home and also brought our Jeep and jetski, all of which fit nicely in our RV spot with plenty of room left over to have friends over for dinner on our patio. Sites are huge, clean and well kept. The resort has its own boat ramp (steep) and some parking for boat trailers, etc. A very nice attraction for us was the dog park and the Pickleball court. We stayed two nights and played twice. The courts have a plastic mat surface which makes it a little tricky at first, but it芒鈧�鈩�s a good play surface. The dog park has some agility equipment, is an artificial grass surface and very clean. The topography is fairly steep, but if you芒鈧�鈩�re not into walking, they have golf carts for rent. A very good staff, good check in procedure and altogether a great time.

My bride and I have been camping for 30 years and this is one of the best RV Resorts we have stayed at with our 43 MADP. The staff is very friendly and helpful with things to do in the area. This is our second visit and we will be back!!!

Stayed here in a 40芒鈧�鈩� MH This is by far one of the nicest, most beautiful Resorts we have seen. Lakes Douglas is amazing with fishing and boating. The amenities are great too. We will be back.

Impeccably maintained and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. We had a fireplace in our site and although it was in the middle of July heat wave, we saw others using theirs. Looks like a really nice feature to have. The views are phenomenal. The spacing is a bit tight and the lack of trees or bushes makes it appear tighter. The pool and slide was fabulous and the lake beach area is huge. Great place and we will be back!

We only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer! Super clean, staff was so friendly and helpful. The facility is gorgeous. I couldn芒鈧�鈩�t say enough great things about this place and I can芒鈧�鈩�t wait to return again on our next trip!

Wow wow wow!!! what a beautiful campground. The owners really planned this out well when it was built! One of the most beautiful we芒鈧�鈩�ve seen in the area. Big sites, fireplaces on some of the sites. We had one. Awesome! Fire pits on the rest. The view was spectacular!! Staff was fabulous and helpful. Easy in and out. Some have mentioned in previous posts that they were 芒鈧�艙hassled芒鈧�聺. We didn芒鈧�鈩�t see or hear any of that. We had family that came and visited for the day and they weren芒鈧�鈩�t charged a fee to get in (as previously reported). Just a beautiful, quiet location. Close to all the attractions. We芒鈧�鈩�ll be back next year!!
