Lewis park is a large park with a grass area on one end where RV’s can park. There is no electric. There is a water spigot across the road. There are a few picnic tables. You will hear cars going through the park into the evening. We felt safe enough but this is pretty bare bones. The park definitely needs some care. They have a donation tube where you can pay. There is a dump station across the street that also asks for donations. If you just need a place to spend the night it’s fine, nothing more.

Horseshoes, tennis, pickleball, walking trail, excercise areas, skateboard park and miniature golf! If you enjoy outdoor activities, this is perfect!! We could have stayed a week! Beautiful and climate was nice! There is a public pool and golf course in walking distance. Loved it!

This quaint city park is perfect for a quick overnight stay! There is a picnic table and grill! We went walking around the park and played some tennis. Better than many places we paid for! Loved it!

July 17, 2022 - got there and signage still reads ‘free’
However all outlets had locks on the boxes. This man was there last week and those didn’t exist then. He found a sheriff to ask and the sheriff said city council locked them (maybe due to cost?) anyways, sad as this was a destination due to that amenity.
Water was fresh and free and so was dump (free not fresh lol)
Nice park, tennis courts, clean playground, mini golf
Dump is across from mini golf

Thank you to Wheatland for providing this park for travelers. We got one of the last electric sites and stayed for 3 days. The water is conveniently located, and we used the dump (near the mini golf) on our way out. We would definitely stay here again.

Not a bad park - sites are not that level and no numbers to tell which site you are in - sone Rv’s looked like they may have been there longer than the 3 day limit but whom are I to say - electric works water near and the dump is just a drive down from the sites as well as a laundry down the road across from the Sherriff office

Great little park. Can't add anything to the other comments. If your not happy with this, move on and spend the $$$$.

We visited in June with 3 kids. We found 10 spots open, consistent electric, water hookup in space 1. 4 different playgrounds with old school rides (like merry go round and metal horses), skate park, basketball all courts, put put course. Dump by put put course. I can’t believe Wheatland provides this free for travelers. I would come just to let the kids play in the playground. What a lovely experience. There’s also a city pool 50 years a away.

This city park is hard to review because it is free and because it is such a nice setting. It is first come first serve so that will turn some RVers off, but not us. We understand first come first serve. There are less than 10 electric sites...my guess. The sites are on a bit of an incline so motorhomes are difficult to get level. Water is available in a central location as is a dump station. We have used it and will use it again, but we understand First Come First Serve, we also realize that the electric sites are not RV Resort level. We also realize that the sites are not FHU. This is NOT a place for those Weekend Wonders that have to have FHU sites. There are a good number of tent sites and dry camping sites. We would/will stay there again.

Free camping in City Park. Wide and deep spaces. Some hook-ups. We stayed over night. Had water and electric. Train nearby but hey, free.
