Built on the slopes of Massanutten Mountain this campground is beautifully designed with terraced, amazing level sites. Clean facilities with a decent wifi hotspot for quick downloads or searches. Staff was very attentive and friendly. We camped over Easter weekend for 5 days and the campground was about a third filled and VERY quiet. Lots of caverns, golf, Civil War history close by. We spent 2 days at the indoor water park at Massanutten Resort which was a 35m drive away. The only drawbacks were the camp store which is pretty much empty and the pool which looks quite small. My wife commented that it isn't what we would call a "resort". Otherwise this is definitely worth repeated trips.

Good wifi and Verizon 2 dot LTE. I picked up four television channels with the rooftop antenna. Sites were large gravel sites with full hookups. I didn't use the shower house but the park appeared to be well kept. We travel in a Chinook Concourse. PA rate $20.00!

A must for a fall camping trip. Near Shenandoah Parkway. Beautiful views. Campground is on a hillside, but the campsites are well terraced and there is no difficulty getting in and out. Some campsites have trees that might block satellite, but there are plenty of sites including pull throughs that have great reception. Friendly staff. For several years as we have camped, we have found bugs have nested in electrical boxes and have shorted the box. Staff are quick to come out and make things right.
