So to start out with this park is in the desert. It is 70 miles or more to the next closest town with any supplies. So yes things are a bit more expensive. The sites are basic to be sure but adequate for our class A. water pressure could be higher, Verizon is lousy and the Wi-Fi is in a room in the rear of the motel. There is some dust(desert) but not terrible. It is a great location for seeing the National park as well as the state park(recommend). The staff was extremely nice to us and the food in the cafe was decent and reasonably priced.I would come back here for a base camp again. It is not a resort but I wasn芒鈧劉t coming here to lounge around the pool! Check out the hot springs in the park, swim in the river. Rustic bbq down the street is way overpriced and marginal quality. Check out the theater restaurant.

Great location for visiting Big Bend
Generally clean , friendly staff; buildings are dated, but updates are started . Convenient as gas/diesel, propane, restaurant and laundry are at location . Great local grocery store close by on the way to the Park. Campground felt safe .

2stays in one first and last. Ok place to park but power is very poor and it isn芒鈧劉t even busy. Had voltage drop below 105. 18 lbs water pressure. Workers and full time residents here speed all over. Good place to sit out the cold for a couple days but won芒鈧劉t be back. Loose dogs. Att signal strong on LTE. Staying over Christmas weekend 2022.

This review is not for the RV lots specifically, but for the company in general. I am staying at Study Butte RV down the road (I recommend this campground!) but they do not fill propane tanks there.
Since we are leaving the area tomorrow and will
Be dry camping with no access to propane, I brought my tanks here to be topped off (a winter storm is coming and I need to make
Sure we have heat!). My tanks were already over half full each, and the total amount filled was 4 gallons.
They charged me a flat rate for the fill-up, which was $19.50 per tank. So a total of $40, for filling up 4 gallons.
I was pretty concerned about this and asked if I could pay what I actually used. They sent me to the manager, who assured me that if I didn芒鈧劉t pay the bill, I would be charged with theft, and that she had already contacted the sheriffs department.
So in summary, in this RV park, the customer is never right, and is threatened with the law if you don芒鈧劉t immediately comply with their unfair charges.

Lots are dirty and dusty
Cable TV is only available for motel rooms
Internet is only available in the 芒鈧揷lubhouse芒鈧
With these comments, the advertising of amenities is misleading and the cost is $44 which should give us a better place ferreous

A "resort" is anything but. No potable water allegedly caused by their filtering malfunction. Staff admitted that this water problem has been a persistent issue. Even with my filering on my system, advised not to drink the water or use for anything other than toilets (did not risk showering).
Water faucet fell apart on first lot. First lot was very unlevel. Second lot had partially broken electric plug.
Staff admitted that management has failed to maintain campground and has loss repeat business, especially snow birds.
Only recommend if you are desperate. As a frequent camper (4 months per year), this ranks as one of the worst.

We have camped a lot across the country both in state and private parks. I typically give RV Park owners a wide degree of latitude on their reviews and providing reasonable facilities. When I was researching this place Before coming out here, I found mixed reviews. I can honestly say this park far is the worst 芒鈧搑esort芒鈧 I have ever spent money at and will not be back.
This campground is located conveniently off of the highway and obviously caters to the transient traveler that are visiting Big Bend. The rates they charge are very high and you get very little in amenities. I guess common courtesy costs extra but I didn芒鈧劉t see that as an option when I booked my site.
The RV sites give you a place to hook up and thats about it. The sites really close, gravel pads which are kinda level and they mixed in with tent campers and cabin/motel rooms. This was a fun experience. The shouting, dog barking, flash light beams in your eyes and having your minor daughter get to see a grown man pee behind their dumpster. This is one classy 芒鈧搑esort芒鈧.
Cell service is spotty out here and you would think that a 芒鈧搑esort芒鈧 would at least have WiFi at their rates. Nope. The only place you can access WiFi is in their 芒鈧揷lubhouse芒鈧 behind the office.
I found that there are a bunch of other places in the area that cater to RV芒鈧劉rs. Just sayin.

Good campground for the location. Friendly staff, clean usable facilities, ok spacing between sites, about five miles from the west entrance to Big Bend NP. You are in the desert with little water so there is not much vegetation and there is dust. We would stay here again.

The word Resort in the name is misleading. That said, this is a typical older desert park: parking on desert floor, paid showers ($2 for 6 minutes seems standard price in the Big Bend). Everything costs more in this remote desert area.
After two weeks in the Big Bend National Park in mid December, I came here for a week, but extended it to a month. It's a base camp for all of the outdoor activities in the area: hiking, river canoeing, horseback camping. The staff is friendly, and the shower I used was decent. The washers in the laundry were good, but only a third of the dryers were working. The store pumps propane on weekdays.

Stayed 1 night in April 2017. Restrooms needed cleaning and showers cost $2 for 6 minutes. Used my RV facilities instead. Good location to Big Bend NP entrance. Credit card receipts held until you check out making another trip to the office necessary. Staff friendly and helpful. Will try different campground on my next trip to BB.
