Before going on a trip, I had too much water in holding and fresh water tanks. All stays showed Bear Creak as a location to dump before leaving. They now only allow dumping for RVs renting for overnighttg

Sweet on the phone, Salty in person and not in a good way. It has what you need if you芒鈧劉re coming through for a stop and go, but the place is in need of some serious upkeep and pride. Dryer didn芒鈧劉t work so after washing our clothes , we were stuck hanging them out around the rv.

Nice clean convenient campground. The checkin lady could have used a little more sugar as she was surly. But after checkin we were comfortable. The grounds were clean and neat and the proximity to the Biltmore was a plus

No, no, no, no, no, no. Drive right past this place and keep on going. We reserved for 4 nights at $45 per night to park on the shoulder of a busy road! I was livid and asked for another site. No can do, of course (Friday afternoon of a July weekend and 4 miles from Biltmore!). Don芒鈧劉t get swayed by reviews of the 芒鈧搗iews芒鈧 and, yes, proximity to Biltmore might tempt you. Sites are on top of each other and the place is old. The check-in person and I exchanged heated words and we left.

This is a terrific campground. The owners are exceptionally nice. The sites are large with awesome views. Some pull through and some back in. There is a pool, laundry area (very clean), showers(also very clean). The accessibility is phenomenal. Within just a few miles you have downtown, the river arts district, the Biltmore, the arboretum, rafting and tubing on the French broad river and so much more.

We stayed two nights. Tight quarters but it worked out. The older lady at the front desk is not very nice. She has no personality and is sarcastic and condescending. My wife checked in and told me that the lady was not friendly to her or the gentleman who was in line before her. I went to go buy ice the next day and asked the lady a question and was met with rudeness. I had to bite my tongue. Not a great person to have at the front desk. The park has some beautiful views and several of the other campers were very friendly. The park is also about four miles from downtown and 4 miles to the Biltmore.

Rude drill sergeant checked us in. Price AFTER Good Sam discount $45 for small 30 amp site. Site poorly maintained. No WiFi my site. Staff in golf carts pulling thunderous trash cans on wheels down to main road 8 am Monday. Bath house too far from most sites - located near large rvs that are unlikely to need them, far from smaller sites. Only one shower for too many RVs. Sites much too close to consider using my outside shower. My sewer pipes are almost underfoot against my neighbor芒鈧劉s table, on down the line. Tow vehicle parking is bumper to bumper. Very loud right above interstate.
Sites are concrete - mostly level but poured by amateurs. Not a pretty picture, and they gouge smaller rv芒鈧劉s on the price, but okay for a larger rv located in the center area. Not a lot to choose from in Asheville. I am moving to East Canton KOA 10 minutes west TODAY. Much nicer and less expensive.
We have a 20芒鈧劉 travel trailer.

This place is falling apart, oh! And the "heated pool" yep... that's a lie... it is an old pool that is falling apart, liner falling out and is as cold as ice water! It is only open during office hours so if you plan to do anything in town forget going to the pool in the evenings ... I would not recommend this place to anyone!

The staff was great till we arrived... great right up until they charged me $90 for two nights in the tiniest spot you have ever seen .. my camper is 22' and I had to try and maneuver it so my car would still half way fit.. then I had no picnic table.. I called the office just to ask if this site did or didn't have a table as it was kinda hard to tell which spots went with what tables and the lady told me to hold for a second.. I guess she thought I was on hold because next I heard was "I can't even deal with this" then I was mad!!!! The fact that I was paying the same as everyone else that had huge sites with views and my site is next to the road and no picnic table to speak of... I am sad that this is my first time ever camping in my brand new travel trailer and this is the experience that I am having.. I wish that I could just leave but I will lose the money if I leave.. don't come here! It is a parking lot.. if u do want to come here then make sure you book in advance because then you might could get a better site! This place sucks!! They did refund me $10 because of the treatment.. one of the ladies came down to see about the picnic table and basicly said we could use the neighbors.. but that feels wrong.. sigh.. glad we r just here two nights

This is an unusual park. It has multiple levels. You want to pick a spot on the same road as the office but on the left hand side for great views. They are back-in spots. We requested pull through but they are in an undesirable location near the road. The spaces are paved. They are very close. However, some are pretty steep and unlevel. Ours was fine. The only washroom near us was under the office and a bit of a walk so we didn't use it. I saw two washers and two dryers in same building as office. There was a pool but not open yet as its only mid-April. Another reviewer said there was no cable or wi-fi. Our experience is great cable and the best wi-fi we've ever had at a campground or RV Park. It's super close to downtown Asheville. We enjoyed our three night stay.
