Interesting place to stay - in a boatyard in town. Bike trails and walking and downtown all very close. Views at night were beautiful. Bathrooms at the nearby hotel gleamed. Staff very helpful. Only down side is that it is parking lot style (boat parking in the winter/RV in summer) and a bit noisy.

Very nice in town location. Walking distance to the tourist area with the shops and restaurants, etc. Quiet overnight and we got to watch the big ships coming in and out.

A unique stop. The full hookup sites are an asphalt parking lot facing the boat basin which gets hot in late August. But the in town campground location is fun - watch the famous Lift Bridge, walk to restaurants and bars, and go to the nearby Duluth City Park called Franklin Square, where there’s a beach and you can swim in Lake Superior. Cold but refreshing and clear.

Awesome location on the waterfront. Can watch the large ships pass under the draw bridge. Walk to many good shops and restaurants. Laundry and showers steps away in the Fairmont hotel. Great WiFi; wide spaces; 50 amp. 8 mile boardwalk along Lake Superior about 10 min away. Don’t miss this one!

Location, Location. Right on the waterfront. 10 min walk to shops and restaurants. Watch the Freighters come under the lift bridge. Reminds me of Liberty Harbor RV Park in Hoboken NJ at less than 1/2 the price. Good utilities, no wifi, 2-3 bars of Verizon LTE on my Iphone.

Really liked it even though it was a parking lot, lol. We only stayed one night on our way to Glacier but if we were going to tour more of Duluth, it was a good spot to stay a few nights. A 10 minute walk will get you over the aerial bridge (unless a ship comes by)and to Grandmas restaurant and a few others. If you bring a bike, you can see a lot more. The shipping schedule is on the Internet so you could see when the bridge would be used and what ships were going by. The bathrooms are located in the hotel which were immaculate! We even did some laundry- I think it was 1.50 wash and 1.50 dry.

Love this place! Fantastic views, right on the bay, very near lift bridge, showers in motel by the marina. Large Lakers (Ships) fun to watch. One big caution, their water pressure is very high and a pressure regulator is a MUST.

Basically a parking lot. But the views of the harbor and the big ships going by make it worth it. Good hookups, make sure to bring a water pressure regulator as their pressure is very high. Not much WiFi but good ATT. Showers and BR basically a couple of porta potties, but nearby hotel is accessible to RVers. Walking distance to lift bridge and downtown. Viewing areas and green areas under each side of the bridge good for dog walking.

Great place on the shores of Lake Superior! We stayed for only one night but want to come back. The boat basin is close to many activities. Convenience store and laundry available at adjacent Fairfield Inn. We had w & e for the night. Showers and bathrooms convenient to RV parking. We have a 30’ Airstream.

I camped 98 days in my 2011 Heartland Edge 21M. I was only going to stay one night and move on, but stayed a total of four! Awesome location for the center of tourist activities! I will be back to visit and experience even more!
