Yes it is a parking lot but a wonderful place to stay in Duluth. The bathhouse is in the nearby hotel, making it clean and new. A new washer and dryer too. Could not be more convenient to the waterfront and all things relevant to Duluth. WiFi was essentially non-existent while we were there. No cable. Just a pretty cool environment. We would definitely stay there again and look forward to it.

Like everyone else says... this isn’t a traditional park. It is a parking lot in the marina. With that said, it was a very cool place to stay. We enjoyed watching the marine traffic (reason we chose it), and the proximity to walk everywhere. Bathrooms and showers were in the hotel, we didn’t use them. There is also laundry.

Great place to stay. Campground is a parking lot in a marina. There are about 12 sites against a fence on the landside and another 15 or so out by the water- the preferred area because of the views. Great Wi-Fi, power and water. Very quiet at night and very convenient to downtown Duluth. You can easily walk to the waterfront which is full of restaurants. We would certainly stay again, about $43 per night for full hookups you need a long dump hose since the dump pipe is all the way at rear of each site

This is an experience, not campground. Reviewers are right to say it’s more of a parking lot. However, It’s pretty awesome. Amazing views, fun to watch boats, sounds of the lake, and close enough to walk to town. It’s a bit more expensive than I think it should be ($35 before tax for just water/elec) but not outrageous. Owner just recently built a new bathroom, shower, & laundry! Overall, would recommend!!

We are a 40 ft motorhome towing a Jeep. We were looking for a spot close to downtown Duluth. Never imagined we would find one within walking distance and in a marina. There is nothing fancy here , you are in a parking lot, but have water, electricity, and septic. Would stay again as we've enjoyed being close to downtown and biking the area.

We really enjoyed it here. No it is NOT a campground. But if you want to watch ships and the lift bridge at Duluth this is very good. We backed our class A into site plugged in and hooked up the water, setup on pavement was easy to setup. No trees, no fire ring, this is not a campsite but VERY COOL if you like watching the lake freighters go by 300 yards in front of you. Also very close to the rest of the canal park part of Duluth. We were able to go back to our site several times during the day. The folks that operate this are friendly and were good to deal with. We are already thinking we will be back someday. We stayed 3 nights in our motorhome.

Inspite of the other review we found this one of the coolest parking spots we have been. The fact that it is essentially a parking lot (used for boat storage in winter and RV in summer), has minimal facilities (sewer dump on some sites, elec and water on all, ports toilets and wierd showers) it has the most amazing views of the Duluth water front area. Where else can you park and watch as Ocean going ships as well as small craft cruise by your front window? Then as the sun goes down over the hills the lights of the city twinkle on and the beautiful lift bridge becomes lit up. This all combined with being walking distance to the shops, bars and restaurants of the Canal Park strip. We have stays twice and will be back again.

Don't judge a campsite by its cover. In Allstay's description it didn't say anything about being on a pier in downtown Duluth. The main thing we were looking for was a place to wash some clothes. Said it has a laundry, not. Said it had firewood; no fires on pier because of gas and boats, not even a grill. And if things filled up with boaters and campers it is going to be a problem. Hope my neighbors don't mind me hooking up at 5:00 in the morning
