Yes it's a ways from town but they shuttle you to the French quarter daily. Very helpful staff. The site was large enough. It is a great park!

One star for the free shuttle offered, the other star is for the five star employee who was really helpful to us. The lack of three stars is because of the following: the location is miles from downtown, making it not easy to visit NOLA. There was the absolute worst train horn noise every night, every hour, incredibly loud. The "dog park" was a fenced in back yard to two rundown homes. The area was a little on the slum side. The site space was a 3ft wide strip of grass to enjoy. The pool was not heated and there were some broken parts probably not up to code. For $45 a night we were less than impressed and would never stay there again.
