This campground is open in 2025. It is a very nice city park with basic sites. Sites have water and electric; a dump station is outside the campground near the park entrance. Sites are level but short, and there are only a couple pull through sites. While I see some largish Class As and towables here, it is not really big rig friendly. Also, the water and electric are shared between two sites, meaning it is on the wrong side for one of them. The park’s star attraction is the Nature Station, a small museum open daily, and six miles of trails accessible from the campground, including one which is on a very nice boardwalk. We stayed a week here, using it as a base to explore the area. We enjoyed it, felt safe, and will be back.

Nothing fancy but decent for overnight stay when in the area. As others have said, when you call to reserve, no one answers but voicemail gives you code to enter. You pick your own site. Park like setting with lots of trees. Bathrooms and showers are definitely industrial looking. We didn’t use the showers. $28/nite cash or check left in envelope.

A fine overnight stop during Jan 24. Two other campers, one possibly abandoned trailer. Very quiet. Might not be so nice during high occupancy, as there is no screening between sites. Good system of boardwalks through the alluvial forest. Well priced at $28 for W&E.

This was a lovely park. In the middle of a nice residential area. Many people come to walk and enjoy the nature and nature center. Nice pads in the park. Nice pad and electricity. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Very private little spot that feels like you are in the woods. Stopped just for the night - didn’t unhook. Water and power. Giant playground in the middle of park. Photos are a little deceiving and place seems pretty sketch when you pull up but we are happy with our spot. There was no one at office and no answer to phone calls. Envelope/cash system.

Staff was friendly and bathrooms seemed clean. In the trees not too far from the interstate. Good Verizon reception and I was able to get a dish signal. Site 49 was pull through and since only two other campers in the park spacious. Nice nature walk and small center. Worth $28 dollars. Here in truck camper for one night November30, 2020 waiting to get some work done at Camping World. Would stay here again if I had business or pleasure in the area.

Called to make a reservation left a message after finding something online. I did get a return call telling me there would be space. Like the other reviews say it is in a residential area and the sites are a little rundown. The person that checked us in suggested a different pull thru site than the one I reserved. I did go with his suggestion, no need to unhook, even though there was a reserved sign. As it turned out we were the only people in the park. No one bothered us, our dog love having the park all to himself. I would stay again.

Nice park friendly staff topped off in what seems like the middle of nowhere but it's just passed a newer residential area. Reason I'm only giving 4 stars is the showers never got hot. Yes we would stay there again.

Rustic little campground in the middle of the city. Does need spruced up, but it was convenient, quiet and relatively inexpensive at $25/night (elec & water - no sewer). Had a great spot backed up to the creek (which was dry at the time), but it is a flash flood area, so parts of the park should be avoided in heavy rain. Would definitely camp there again.
