Unfriendly owners who don’t care if you stop or not. Go further down the road & stay at the KOA I’m Salina if you are looking for a great park. Grounds were unkempt & Park needs TLC. Don’t waste your time.

The place was fine for an overnight stop. We arrived at almost 11 PM and were able to do a late check in. Owners greeted us over an intercom system to make sure we knew what we were doing. There were not many other campers there so we had plenty of space. Also the spaces themselves were large and you could pull in. Full hook up all though it was too cold for us to leave the water connected. We did not use any of the facilities so I cannot comment on those. We were basically parked right behind that pub but did not go in it either. You can definitely hear the highway but that's fine. As other reviewer?s have said, there are LOTS signs all over the place telling you what not to do. However the owner came by in the morning and she was friendly so it probably just gives a wrong impression. Main drawback if you have a pet is that there are thorns in the grass. One got stuck in my dogs paw pretty much immediately. My husband was also frustrated that you had to pay cash that evening rather than checking in in the morning. We were already tired and it was very cold out. She did bring us change in the morning though.

Ok stop for the night. Basic sites with full hookups. Easy in and out, nice pub with good selection of beer and food.

We were happy to find this stop. Easy parking, good to have electricity, water and sewer, restrooms and showers were clean. Friendly check in. Great to have the pub on sight. Friendly and good food. Didn't use pool or hot tub but nice to know they are available. Grounds need work.

Good stop. Very level site. Good hook-ups. Nice wide turning areas. Not sure what people are complaining about wrt rules. Nothing out of the ordinary other than no smoking except in your camper which we thought was great. Folks working were nice, efficient and helpful.

Stopped here for a night on our way through town. Arrived after office was closed but owner came out because he said he saw me on camera. Was polite and pointed us in the direction of the sites. Had full hookups. Used shower in the morning and it was fairly clean and had hot water and multiple shower stalls. Camp ground was clean. Right off of highway so heard road noise and construction in the morning but it didn't keep me up. Had to pay cash after hours and cost was $35. Only had $40 so put that in envelope and wrote note I would pick up change in morning. Lady had it waiting for me but no sunshine and rainbows from her in way of pleasantries. Lots of signs all over saying what you can't do so felt like was being yelled at with all the capital letters, bold type and explanation marks on all the signs. But good place to stop for night. Provided what I needed.

Cap'n Jacks Pub is the main reason for additional star(s). Campground is adequate but our dog managed to get burrs in his pads within the first 10' of our walk. So property is not good for pets. We stayed in an u seasonably warm February for one night and there was only one other rug in the park. It meet our needs for an en route stop, convenient to I-70, and having a restaurant/bar a short walk across the park made it enjoyable.

Only stop if you really need to! Can't say to much about the park, because the unhappy owner put us practically on the highway in the first spot. Asked to be a little deeper into the park, that was a big NO! In the morning those spots where still empty! But we did have a great view of the trash and highway. We ate at the restaurant, which was a let down. Not as good as they think it is, because they will tell you that they are the best. You can not use a charcoal grill here.

Okay place for overnight. Good food at the on site Cap 'n Jacks Pub. Caution- they have thorny weeds which get in the dogs paws. They warned us to stay in grassy areas but the weeds have even spread to the grass. This made it hard to walk the dogs safely. If it weren't for that I would stay here again.

Stayed here overnight. Gal who checked us in seemed to be just marking time until she could sell the place. She complained about campers who drove across her grass but the sites were nothing but rough gravel and mown weeds, including goats heads, which the dogs did not like. Our site had broken glass on the gravel. After a rainstorm there was 2 inches of standing water out our door. We went to the pub for dinner, were told to sit anywhere but were ignored, so we left.
I would not stay here again.
