A charming little park. As come have already commented, it鈥檚 small, the road is narrow and some of the spots are a little bit steep. And unfortunately, the really level spots are at sharp angles to the road, which can make backing in a bit of a challenge. Lastly, there are no sewer hookups. On the other hand, the park is quiet and heavily wooded. There鈥檚 a decent amount of space between spots, and it鈥檚 really very pretty.

Wonderful RV park next to small lake. We stayed over Thanksgiving so base was very quiet and very few campers at fam camp. Made reservations via dobbinslife.com - very nice feature instead of calling. Wooded park with level cement pads. Some sites with steeper driveway but we did fine with smaller camper. Good T-Mobile connection, didn鈥檛 use wi-fi. Staff member called day before to confirm reservation and provided bathroom codes. Bath/showers were excellent; 1 set free laundry machines in each bathroom. Nice BX next to camp. No gas station. Super place to stay to explore Atlanta.

Make sure you call to confirm your site because the website instructs you to do just that! Terry was very helpful and available after hours(Thank you). This Famcamp is cute and small. If you are a big rig you definitely want to unhitch your flat tow because the turns are very tight and the road is very narrow. Most of the sites are not leveled, we are in a 40ft Super C and all 4 of our back tires were lifted off the ground roughly 8 inches. We stayed in site #8.

Campground was very convenient for visiting friends in north Atlanta. Our site was longer than expected with a concrete pad and asphalt. It was only 1/2" off level. We had E/W hookups, picnic table, and grill. We could see the BX from our site. We'd stay again. T-Mobile had 5 bars of 5G.

Really enjoyed the convenience to Atlanta . Small campsite and quiet. There is a small BX and Class Six within walking distance. Will stay here again.

Description on app was confusing - 35ft limit yet accepts big rigs. I called and was told there were sites we would fit in. We did not receive instructions in confirmation email re: where to enter the base. Googling FamCamp gives address still directs to gate 2. All gates except main gate are closed. Signs on the road are confusing. Called base security, the only one who answered. Was told main gate is ONLY gate open on the base and it芒鈧劉s open 24 hrs/day. Sgt answering was rude. Gate personnel removed bollards so we could drive straight thru. Sites are tight, some short, they are concrete pads. Road around campground is narrow, but adequate. Needed to remove big sticks and pine ones on our site before we could park. Picnic table stuck haphazardly behind the pad. No room for it on the side. However, the area is beautiful, very woodsy. We stayed in site 1, backs up to small lake. Was level, long enough for motorhome and toad. Very quiet on a weekend. Bath house was adequate, one toilet stuck running. We called emergency # to report. Marietta is a delightful town. Lots of great restaurants on the square. Harvest Festival was going on in the park. This was a great stopover for us. One night. Would stay here again. We travel in a 42芒鈧劉 Class A with Jeep toad.

We stayed 1 night. Could not find Gate 2 so went in Main Gate. We asked to have the barriers removed so we could drive straight in. No idea what the shower code was, but my husband used a code from Barksdale and it worked. Campground was nice but the pads are not level. Overall , would stay here longer to tour around the Atlanta area.

Not happy campers after a rainy night in Site 1. It is the low point for the camp by the lake, so all the runoff came thru us. A huge pile of gravel was at the entrance to our site, too bad it wasn芒鈧劉t spread over the mud and puddles we tromped thru to set up. The bathhouse code they sent us didn芒鈧劉t work, so no toilet, showers, or free laundry (those were the reasons we wanted to stay there). Went to the camp host for help, but they weren芒鈧劉t home and no contact info for them was provided - don芒鈧劉t step in the dog poop around the host芒鈧劉s door. They tie a dog out from their steps and don芒鈧劉t pick up the poo. Look up before you park - we had a dead branch fall on our truck over night. The emergency after hours number provided rings to the office which is only open Monday & Friday 0900-1500. The park has potential, but it was a bust for us!

Location to Atlanta is great. Mostly filled with long-termers, friendly and inviting. Facilities were adequate and clean. With some landscaping work, this could be a really nice campground. Our site #16 was surrounded by dirt, which made any 芒鈧搒et up芒鈧 impossible and it was really messy from recent rain anyway. But other sites looked better, I think we got the worst one. For an overnight, it was fine. Very quiet!

Arrived after hours with a reservation. Surprise...site was occupied. Boondocked underneath the ground approach radar after clearing it with the SPs. Will check with ITT tomorrow. Hopefully it will work out as the camp looks fantastic.
