Desk SGT was very courteous and and Airman arrived within a few minutes.
Campground was good for the night. Running/walking path on base was convenient.

Stayed here a few nights on our travels. Very happy with the campground. Showers and bath facilities are very clean. Base Exchange very close. Down side is most campers seem abandoned and not looked after. Few over night sites. Never heard from anyone over seeing campground when i had a question.

We came in the fall and the leaves were falling pretty fast so the road and the campsites were pretty much covered. When I did clean off my campsite I discovered a nice concrete pad. Each site had water and electric. A dump site is located on the loop through the Campground. The rest rooms are extremely nice, but are located where you enter the campground so they are not centrally located. The shower did take a long time to warm up, but once it warmed up I had a nice hot shower. The base exchange is across the road and easy walking distance from the Campground. The early comments mentioned that they do have a lot of very permanent RV's I found this to be true, but they have changed their policy so they have reserved a few sites for short time residence. The number of these sites are very limited so it is still hard to get in. The staff was very helpful.

We need place to stay overnight, on way to Florida. I had called months in advance and told to call days before arriving. I did and was told no sites available, however I could park next to tennis court and showers. We arrived at 5pm. We were eating when security arrived, informed us that Base CO didn't want us parking there. We could park on other side of ball park. This spot was not level. I walked around campsite which is nice and shady. Noticed that 90% occupants were homesteaders. I spoke with 3 whom had been there for several months to a year. This campground only serves a few. Would like to see a few sites dedicated to folks traveling.

We arrived yesterday and the hospitality of the base is wonderful. When I called the number they seemed not very knowledgeable about the RV park and gave me the wrong information so we arrived at the back gate after hours. The back entrance gate 2 closes at 1700, but they are very kind and let us in at 1800 and another fifth wheel after 1900. There are not very many open spots, a lot have what looks like permanent RVs being stored there. It is on a first come basis. After us and the other RV the park was full last night. However the sites sit on a beautiful large pond, there is a great playground and it's close to visit Atlanta.
