This is the nicest park we’ve been to after two months, multiple states, national Parks, State Parks, city parks, you name it. This is the best so far! The sites are spacious, the foliage is beautiful. We enjoyed the walk to the ocean then a nice trolley ride back. We took a dip in the pool and noted lots of people riding bicycles and kids playing everywhere.
The park has full hook up with fantastic water pressure, actually 70 psi so we had to regulate down from there. We only spent one night here in June 1925 and didn’t have time to rent the kayaks or other options they had. We look forward to coming back here and spending at least a week next time.

Beware of reverse polarity at electrical hookups at sites near laundry building. After trying 2 sites in the loop that failed displaying red light on my surge protector, I was moved to another loop where power was green light. Been coming here over 5 yrs & this was the first occurrence. Reverse polarity is dangerous so beware.

Wonderful! Can’t say enough about this place! Family friendly but very quiet. All hookups, nearby shopping and restaurants, beautiful beach, good cell service, clean … would give more stars if possible!

One of my favorite RV parks. I live 40 miles away and stay here often. Family oriented with nice pool and activities for kids, but also a great stay for seniors. Destin area has great shopping with some the best restaurants and golf courses in the panhandle. This is a hard park to get into in the summer, especially weekends. It’s also full of snowbirds January through March. On-line booking often shows no vacancy but if you call the ranger station a few days ahead they normally have cancelations. If your just passing through, theres good chance they can fit you in. Topsail state park has one of the best beach in Florida, exclusive to state park patrons. As for amenities, the Wi-Fi is poor but works close to the clubhouse. Verizon cell service is OK but worse on weekends when the condos are full. Don’t expect cable TV, hasn’t worked in any of the sites I’ve used in the past five years. The best sites are on the west side (weeping willow loop) and south side (palm circle).

Crowded, don't stay on a weekend unless you have a lot of kids. Family park yes, restful no. Bathrooms were ok but crowded. Site were small but lots of trees to help make it private. Just not our style of park.

Came back for a second visit. We have camped in 48 states and I think this is our favorite campground. The bike trails, the beach, the shuttle to the beach, the staff. All wonderful. The sites and entire park are so clean. Had a dog parade this year called Mardi Paws for Mardi Gras. The only thing I would change is the laundry price. $3 for the washer and dryer is a little steep, but I mentioned it so you would know the place isn’t perfect. Kith & Kin coffee shop is really great.

Large park and campground that used to be private - purchased by the state in the 90s. Pads are concrete or blue stone (as the concrete cracks and lifts, the park removes damaged pads and replaces with stone). Sites are all E/W/S, level, easy to back into or pull through, a bit closely packed but generally large with trees and shrubs between sites to provide some privacy. Small store in office with adjacent shop serving coffee (great lattes) and pastries. Several easy hiking trails and access (walking, biking or hourly tram) to a beautiful beach. Dated but clean bathhouses, and good laundry facility. Shopping (groceries, restaurants, strip malls) nearby.

We will be leaving tomorrow after 10 days. This is the first park that we wanted to stay longer. I will add 5 stars to the already long list. Staff is great, coffee shop is so nice, beach is spectacular, sites are great. We are in site 30 which is great for our 25’ tag-along. Sites 72-90 look really nice. We will try for them next time because we will be back.

I have to back up the other positive reviews. This place was great! Spacious sites (most with concrete pads) with vegetation between to make each site you private place. Access to the white sand beach by bike or tram. Miles of hiking trails and paved 19 mile bike path along Route 30a just outside the park gate. This is a definite come backer for us.
