One of the most beautifull beaches in Florida, fine white sand, clear water. A tea colored river crosses the sand at the West end, a rare site. Spaces are gravel not dirt and large, they are sparated by bushes. No road noise. Kayaking and nature trails. My only complaint is $4.50 for a 7lb (tiny) bag of ice at the ranger station, ice is $2.50 at another state park. It is always booked months in advance so you have to reserve long before you want to go.

With a utility charge of $7 p/day over camping cost, FL state mgmt doesn’t repair electrical boxes with broken covers jeopardizing your RV — had to place garbage bag over hookup to protect from rain. Won’t return!

Nice state park, quite and secluded sites. Bathrooms were great, clean and roomy. Would go back

Nice little shaded campground next to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We lucked out with a last minute spot for 5 nights. A short bike ride to the town of Grayton and the beach. The rangers were super nice and helpful. We would definitely return to the campground.

September 2019 stay. 40ft 5th wheel. Fantastic beachfront park and surrounding ares. Very good facilities. Some fully shaded sites. All sites have tree and shrub parameters. One loop of sites are larger and paved and the other loop more rustic. Plenty of hiking/cycling in the park and surrounding area. Kayaking/fishing lake in the park. By far the best and cleanest powder white sand beach ever. Very reasonable price even by SP standards. Caution - depending on the weather and prevailing wind conditions the beach could experience a stinging fly problem, which is unpleasant. Apparently the flies breed in the beach dunes, we had one bad beach fly day.

Fantastic campground with great amenities and privacy. All hookups are in great working order, and the park staff are personable and extremely pleasant.
The beach, and main attraction, did not disappoint. It was rather crowded during the Father’s Day weekend, but that was to be expected.
We will definitely return.

We scored a last minute reservation for 1 night the end of March and it was terrific. Our space was tight but large enough for our class B and very private with vegetation separating each site on the back loop. Restrooms were clean and ample. There are many, many hiking paths and the beach was FABULOUS with convenient parking or within biking distance from the campground.

We stayed here for the first week of December 2017. Agree with other reviews; this is a GREAT campground! We stayed at one of the full hookup sites (39) and would stay there again with no hesitation. Grayton has a beautiful beach! Lots of bike paths in the area. Lots to see and do along the Emerald Coast. Staff and other campers were friendly and welcoming. Didn't even go in the bathrooms, but used the laundry...there was only one washer and two dryers. Fine since occupancy was relatively light. Site itself was level, small gravel, and plenty big for our 32' 5th wheel. We booked months in advance. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a great park in an outstanding location! We second reviews about the older loop (not full hook ups) - the sites are tight but level and much more private; we loved them! The showers were large and clean. Loved being able to walk into Grayton or Watercolor/Seaside via the beautiful beach or jog along the bike path along 30A. We also really liked the wooded trails across the highway - flat hike up to 9 miles long. Only downsides include the prohibition of dogs on the beach and a crazy amount of ticks! We found ticks on our pup every single time she left the camper no matter what. We also found them crawling on us. Wish the state park would have at least noted somewhere ticks are present so we could have been aware going in - but we learned quickly! All in all..LOVED it. We would most definitely stay again!

This is a wonderful park along Florida's Gulf Coast. There are two camping loops. One is more rustic and along the bay. The second is less secluded and offers full hook-ups.
Great bike trails into Watercolor.
