No Wi-Fi dirty and creepy. Unbelievable loud air boat noise. Lots of traffic. Too many people. Over crowded.

I芒鈧劉m surprised by the negative reviews. Although this park was somewhat out of the way, we thought it was quiet and enjoyable. We had a nice site with plenty of room. Most sites were taken but everyone was really nice, not loud or anything. We enjoyed walking around the park and seeing some cool wildlife. Not really any wifi at the sites, but sometimes that芒鈧劉s fine with us!

DIRTY sites. No pads. No patios. No grills. No cell phone. Bad TV reception. Loud air boats all day and night. Loud, rowdy campers and ATV vehicles everywhere. The had people camping out of old school buses/homeless??

Cons: Narrow, curvy CG roads w/a few near 90 degree, tight turns around trees; some narrow sites due to lack of vegetation & tree maintenance (damaged paint on tow truck backing 38.5芒鈧劉 5th wheel into sight due to corner not trimmed back); W/E in front of sites; some sites not level enough; staff too concerned w/campers keeping vehicles on pad instead of maintaining sites to allow staying on pad (had to keep tow truck backed under 5th wheel hitch); regular biking impractical except on park & CG roads due to no packed, crushed shells/gravel on trails; trail maintenance lacking except mowing where grass & tilling horse trail; already lenient quiet time rules not enforced; poor water flow/pressure. Pros: Beautiful place; generally quiet except for boats & regular CG rowdies at times; saw & heard birds of prey, owls, etc., heard coyotes; private sites in oak grove w/vegetation between sites; close to usual amenities in Lake Wales.

Nice shady private campsites. Really appreciated the campsite numbers painted on the road. We were there to avoid Hurricane Isaias, but will be back during cooler weather to hike the trails. I had 1 bar on both my AT&T and Verizon cell phones. All the TV stations were greatly appreciated. Everyone was very friendly and the Ranger at the gate gave such good clear directions.

Very nice campground with private sites. Larger sites on outer loops. Peaceful and quiet, but can be a little noisy on weekends due to airboats on the lake. Nice trails for walking and biking. Camp hosts very nice and available if needed. Clean bathrooms and nice laundry area. Lots of OTA channels. Verizon cell spotty, depends on where you are located in the campground. We were at Site 1, and had pretty decent coverage. We saw deer, lots of turkeys and an armadillo. Wish there had been lake access. Would definitely return.

Very quiet, well maintained campground with good privacy for each of the sites. Friendly, helpful staff, good picnic areas and interesting trails. Saw a number of birds of prey during our visit. I thought there would be more direct access to one of the surrounding lakes but this is not the case. The only direct assess is to a canal running through the park.

Love this park. Very peaceful and the staff is very accommodating. The weather was really bad and I didn芒鈧劉t feel good and they found me another site so I could stay an additional day. Very peaceful and quiet and clean park. The campground posts were very nice. Will be back most definitely

Nice spot with lots of older trees shading large campsites. Our 17芒鈧劉 Casita nestled right in to a corner, but I did see some 40芒鈧劉 + RV芒鈧劉s. Clean bathrooms with nice showers and laundry. Hiking, biking and boating are the main recreation, and the locals are in to air boats. 芒鈧揅ow Camp芒鈧 was closed, but trails for horseback riding were visible. Nice tent sites, too.
