This should be a 5-star Park but only gets 4....read below. The camp hosts are terrific芒鈧漬ever had such friendly folks at check-in and to get general advice while here....such as where to go for RV services, propane, etc. The hosts are exceptional. The park itself is probably the nicest DoD FamCamp we芒鈧劉ve stayed at. Ginormous LEVEL concrete pads, plenty of space between sites, and the park is in a very quiet part of the base (OK all of Redstone Arsenal is pretty much quiet...). Not many shade trees around, but I芒鈧劉ll take wide spaces with huge concrete pads any day. Only problem芒鈧漚nd the reason I docked them a star芒鈧漺as for the Outdoor Rec office. They芒鈧劉re not on site and don芒鈧劉t really know what芒鈧劉s going on at the FamCamp. If you make plans to come here with check in and check out dates that don芒鈧劉t change, you won芒鈧劉t have an issue. However, sometimes life happens and we have to change plans. The outdoor Rec office is unwilling to make changes芒鈧漷old me on the phone they were completely booked up yet I was looking at 8 empty sites that stayed empty all night....apparently they could benefit from getting out from behind their desk and walking around the FamCamp, OR芒鈧漛etter yet芒鈧漷ake lessons from the hosts on how to treat customers and make them happy. Really disappointed in the Redstone MWR Outdoor Rec office. Overall, this is a beautiful park and we芒鈧劉d absolutely stay here again while in Huntsville.

Previous reviews are outdated芒鈧漷his park is now one of the nicest FamCamps in all of DoD. Brand new huge (30x75?) and perfectly level pads with full hook ups. Very clean bathrooms and laundry facility. Host was exceptional, very helpful, friendly and polite. We very much enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.

Stayed 1 night while traveling south. We were met by camp host to advise of frost warnings that night; very professional & friendly camp host. Nice gated dog area & good amenities on base & area. Would recommend for future stay.

I am currently one of the new hosts at Redstone Arsenal RV Park and I would like to thank everyone for their honest reviews. There have been a lot of positive changes and I have received many positive feedbacks. We have beautiful large sites with full hook-ups, a clean and stocked laundry room, dog run, two clean bathroom houses, WIFI and two great families as hosts who just recently took over the park. This is a beautiful park and we would love to have you come and visit. Make sure you stop and say hello!

HUGE concrete pads with nice full hookup sites with a nice picnic table on every spot for an unbeatable price. Only problem is there is ZERO shade, so your campers AC will work overtime all day in the summer. Laundry was your standard old school machines. One was broken, but had a sign stating the replacement was ordered. Didn芒鈧劉t use the bath house since I had full hook ups. Check in was a breeze (just call to get your site number and just go straight to the park, never had to go to outdoor rec to do anything). In the four days I was there, everyone was very friendly, to include the host who cut the grass at my lot on the third day I was there. If I芒鈧劉m ever in the area again, I wouldn芒鈧劉t hesitate to stay here again!

Husband has a job near here and after calling every single camp site in the area this was our last hope. We booked a week (first time on any military installation) the sites are paved , large pull through. Easy to maneuver in and out of park one street away from the PX and comm. laundry in camp site area. Very clean. Camp host were great very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Great WiFi . Very clean and well kept. Dog run area is nice and clean as well . Kids can ride their bikes without worry . All around great place for our family .

Have campground bully. Hopefully they芒鈧劉re only temporary, I have never run up on an adult bully so mean or hateful at a campground before. However, the campground host does a good job managing them. I think for most it is easier to MoveOn then it is to complain.

Reminds us of trailer parks from our 1974-79 days at Ft Bragg. New host just started and trying to turn it around. Large part of Park is full time local folk who have set up permanent camp. Concrete with no shade. No day room or meeting area. Grass without exaggeration was a foot high. You can see the potential but no one has the vision to bring it to life. Shameful example of an RV Park.

Here are Redstone for 5 days! Pretty disappointed in the campground setp! Not alot of privacy. No trees in park, but plenty that surround the area. I feel like I am in the parking lot to Walmart. The new pads are not finished to date. Should be another month or so. Good laundry facility. Cable stinks! Do love the walking that is available.

These are nice big concrete pad sites. As of 15 February 2018 they were expanding and putting in another 40 or more sites. Hopefully they will add some landscape too.
