Plumas NF, From Oroville take Hwy 70 to Hwy 162, turn right and go east to Olive Hwy. Turn right and go 5 miles to Forbestown Road. Turn right and go 16 miles to La Porte Road(CR 514),turn left and go 27 miles to La Porte passing through 2 miles more to the Recreation Area signs, turn right and go to the site.
