Plumas NF, From Oroville on Hwy 70 take Hwy 162 east to Olive Hwy, then 5 miles and turn right onto Forbestown Road. Then 16 miles to La Porte Road(CR 514), turn left and go through the town of La Porte and continue on for 2 miles to the Recreation Area signs, turn right and go 3 miles
