For Socorro Rodeo & Sports Complex: This place is a joke. First the directions to get here are a mess
There was no one to check in with. There is no internet. There are no bathrooms or showers. Absolutely zero grass so forget pet friendly. There is no shade. The sewage pipe hadn鈥檛 been used in so long I had to pry the top off, it seemed melted in place.
It is flat and easy to pull through. I guess in an emergency it will do for a night. I鈥檓 glad I didn鈥檛 book for more than one night.

For Socorro Rodeo & Sports Complex: This campground is clean, quiet, has large pull throughs, full hookups, and never crowded! Only $30 per night and reservable online!! We芒鈧劉ve had 3 perfect stays here in the last 4 months while traveling through the region. It芒鈧劉s a gem! Socorro is a small town but has a Walmart and Tractor Supply plus various gas stations, restaurants, markets, etc.. the Bosque del Apache marsh is close by and well worth a visit. Lots of migratory birds and easy to drive through.
