For Kal-Haven Outpost: July 2024: 45鈥橫H with tow spent a month here and really enjoyed this quiet well run park on the Kal Haven bike trail. Previous reviews are accurate. We did experience some local down pours which created some ponding and very sandy conditions but it drains well in most places. This park is still in development and bath house is very nice but sandy at times. We will be returning.

For Kal-Haven Outpost: Nice campground - no trees so you kind of bake on a sunny day. Bathrooms clean and well maintained. Close to South Haven with a fair number of restaurants and breweries (Definitely check out Three Blonds). I would stay here again.

For Kal-Haven Outpost: I gave 4 stars for this clean, organized park. It's fairly new so the bathhouse was very nice with separate showers. There's a cute campstore with fresh eggs and other provisions. Also there are cute cabins to rent. We wanted to ride the Kal/Haven bike trail and it's right there! It's about 4 miles to South Haven. You're pretty much out in the open, no big trees yet but the sites are nicely spaced and you have water and we just needed 30 amp which worked fine. Also wifi. We didn't end up riding as much as we thought as it got very hot but plan to return.
