For Vernon Downs Casino and Racetrack: The location was a bit off the beaten path and it was a slow night at the casino. We went into the casino to check with security if it was OK to stay overnight. Staff was very friendly. We ate at the cafe; food was very good and reasonably priced. Casino is smoke free. Though we芒鈧劉re not gamblers we signed up and played a few games. We will definitely stay here again when we pass through NY.

For Vernon Downs Casino and Racetrack: This was a pretty rough stay. We got in late in the rain. We called and they were friendly and told us where to park. Good lighting and apparently security cameras. People were coming out of the casino pretty late into the morning hours talking loudly. It might be better if you were out in the gravel, but we didn芒鈧劉t know if we芒鈧劉d sink in the mud. There is a loudspeaker outside that makes announcements every hour or two that ran until pretty late at night. We didn芒鈧劉t sleep a wink! Might be just fine if you run your generator and a fan all night.
