For Charette Lakes Wildlife Area - NMDGF: Beautiful, quiet, remote spot, with nothing for miles around. There are two smallish lakes, which I hear have good fishing. The main reason to come is for the solitude and quiet and spaciousness. Big views in all directions. There are picnic tables, a porty potty, and a boat ramp, but little else. No shade.
