For Oil Well Flat - BLM: Great place to camp for free at lower elevation. Near Canon City. Established and marked trails. Road is rough. Marked campsites. Private but has some areas with a lot of party litter. 2 bars in Verizon with LTE. Decent views. High desert. Hot and dry.
