For Hwy 12/Hole in the Rock - Grand Staircase-Escalante NM: This is A great stop for big rigs traveling Highway 12. I was worried there would be a problem with clearance or heat, but in our 30 foot motorhome towing a truck with our 6 inch clearance we had no problem finding a spot. We were especially delighted to find the best T-Mobile reception anywhere in the area and were able to watch streaming TV as well as the 40 digital channels that came in from Salt Lake City area. It was not too hot as it is higher elevation and there are some juniper Hines around to give a little shade.

For Hwy 12/Hole in the Rock - Grand Staircase-Escalante NM: Extensive area for 芒鈧揵oondock芒鈧� camping on beautiful Mesa overlooking Escalante valley. Well used in springtime. No facilities provided. Plan to be fully self contained, no fire pits and PLEASE have portapotty, wag bag, or whatever you need to carry out your waste and keep this lovely area clean! A couple places in nearby Escalante offer showers for a few $.

For Hwy 12/Hole in the Rock - Grand Staircase-Escalante NM: Easy to access near the beginning of Hole in the Rock Road (right side, past culvert). Room for unlimited RVs. Lots of flat areas. Grassy with Scattered trees. View overlooking the valley to the west is pretty.

For Hwy 12/Hole in the Rock - Grand Staircase-Escalante NM: Lots of places to set up with firepits. A decent amount of people for a Saturday but there was lots of space in between everyone. No toilets. Some of the dirt roads were wonky but there芒鈧劉s enough space and road to get around in any vehicle.

For Hwy 12/Hole in the Rock - Grand Staircase-Escalante NM: Large open area, lots of camp areas to choose from but no toilets, water, tables or grill as was given in the all stays description. Still a great option.
