For Silver Lake - Delaware State Forest: There are two sites here, and they are known collectively as Edgemere. Free permits are required from the Forest Service. You can request a permit online for one of the sites, listed as E1. The site on the north side of the road, E14, is where we stayed. The other site seems a bit better since it offers some shade. Both have a gravel pad, picnic table and fire ring with cooking grate. Nice and private. There was a open meadow next to the site, which we enjoyed with our telescope.
