For Mustang Run RV Park: Very clean, great security, good location, accommodating staff

For Mustang Run RV Park: We are full time RVers, travel often, and are good tenants. We were red flagged. Seems like a trend. Read the other low-star reviews and save yourself some trouble. Go stay at Rockwell or Council. They芒鈧劉re likely quieter anyway. We have never had a complaint from any of the locations we芒鈧劉ve stayed across several states. We stayed with Mustang Run for a week in November. When I booked, I thought it odd that they did not provide any sort of email confirmation. When I asked for one I was told 芒鈧揥e don芒鈧劉t do that here. We keep it simple, but I芒鈧劉ve got you down.芒鈧漈his should have been my red flag for lack luster management. We called ahead to let them know we would be coming in after hours. Upon arrival we picked up our packet from the office board and made our way to our site. We had a nice (although noisy) stay. One evening we decided to have a fire at our campsite using our enclosed Breeo fire pit. We first carefully checked the documentation we were provided and also reviewed the policies online. There was no mention of camp fires (I checked online policies again 5 minutes before writing this review. No policy on campfires). About 30 minutes after we sat down around the fire, someone drove by and told us that Oklahoma was under a burn ban. We IMMEDIATELY thanked the gentleman, and doused the fire with water to put it out. No mention was made of a park policy violation. And no one contacted us at any other time about the 芒鈧搃nfraction芒鈧�. On the last day we were there, a family member came to see us off. She was onsite perhaps 20 minutes. We were asked to move her car out from behind the trailer where she had parked. We moved it right away and she parked in the vacant slip next to ours. She stayed in her car with car running from that point forward since we were about to leave. We have a brand new truck and trailer, kept a clean site while we were there, dropped our trash at the dumpster, and left not knowing we had been black-listed. We were unaware of any reason why we would be - happy customers off to the next adventure. Fast forward a few months and I call to book another stay. I芒鈧劉m told that they will not rent a space to us again because we broke the park policy on camp fires. I asked if there was anything we could do since those rules were not disclosed. I was told that the notice was in the papers we received (it was not). I was then told our fire pit left a burn ring in the grass (caused by the heat from the underside of our 24芒鈧� fire pit. This was not a grass fire). I said that I芒鈧劉d be glad to pay a fine for damages and was flatly declined. I asked if I could speak with a manager. She said she was the manager. Then she informed me that we also had a parking violation. When I asked about the parking violation, I was told 芒鈧揑芒鈧劉m not sure, the account is just flagged for parking violation, fire violation and the mark on the grass.芒鈧� My advice to future travelers is to be EXTREMELY careful not to upset the staff, don芒鈧劉t assume the rules are fully disclosed, and don芒鈧劉t count on basic notice OR decency if you 芒鈧搒tep out of line芒鈧�. I would much prefer to receive a follow up call or even a charge to my credit card for fees/damages than to be blind sided when trying to schedule a return visit. We were not reckless or destructive. We made honest mistakes that anyone could make! At the end of a conversation that was nothing less than shocking. I said, 芒鈧揟here is no one else I can talk to? What the hell?芒鈧� She proceeded to gaslight me as if I was being treated fairly, then she hung up on me. An extremely unfortunate way to relate to a would be repeat (and reasonable) customer.

For Mustang Run RV Park: We booked a last minute stay at the Mustang Run RV park for one night. An envelope was waiting for us with our site and the pull through was concrete, level, and plenty of room. The bathrooms were very,very clean. The bathroom doors had a code to get in芒鈧ajor plus, and the bathrooms were well heated with granite countertops and laminate wood floors. We had 3 RV park stops along the way to Tucson and this one has been by far the best.

For Mustang Run RV Park: Great stop for overnight stay. Close to I-40. Some road noise but we slept just fine. Concrete pads and drives芒鈧�漬o potholes, and easy to navigate. Hookups we芒鈧劉re convenient. Didn芒鈧劉t use their cable as it was analog and streaming on their WiFi worked well (buffered just a few times). Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

For Mustang Run RV Park: Very nice campground with level sites, easy hookups. We arrived after hours, but called and were told a packet would be waiting. It was and clear instructions were in there to our site and to stop by in the AM to check in. Staff was friendly. Laundry and showers were first rate. We were staying a few nights to visit OKC and family near Cushing, OK. Two things you need to know (and why it gets 3 stars), first芒鈧�..the campground is right next to I-40芒鈧�..I mean, 芒鈧揟hrow a rock and hit it芒鈧� close. My wife and I couldn芒鈧劉t hear each other while setting up, and we were on the 2nd row. Once inside, it wasn芒鈧劉t so bad and sleeping was not affected, although there was always a low drone of traffic and the occasional Jake Brake noise. If you have a canvas top on your camper, bring earplugs. Second, the WIFI gets better the closer you are to the office. They do have a repeater on the back fence, but I guess where we were was a 芒鈧揇ead Zone.芒鈧� It was very hit and miss, mostly miss. Still very close to many restaurants, grocery, and pharmacy. Turning into and out of the entrance at the main road was sporting at times. Not the campground芒鈧劉s fault, just a busy intersection off the interstate. I would stay here again, but further away from the interstate.

For Mustang Run RV Park: We stayed here in May 2021. Have stayed several times at this park, as it is close to the people we are visiting.it is right off the highway. Directions and signage could be improved. Park is clean, sites are nice. There are 3 storm cellars, which is a plus and unusual. Pay attention to the rules. They are enforced. And the park is run more businesslike than social and campy. Which is fine if you aren't looking for that summertime, entertainment kind of park. We have a 38 foot motorhome.

For Mustang Run RV Park: Do not stay at this place. I would leave zero stars if I could. My boyfriend and I were in the other day to check the place out possibly stay for the next several months. He was looking at one of the sites and some girl came running out of the office asking if she can help him and preceding to tell him that he was in the wrong 芒鈧渟pot!芒鈧劉 She then told him to leave the property. Real nice way to run a business. I芒鈧劉ll take my money elsewhere. Thank you very much.
