For Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary: Be wary that the dirt road inside the grounds of the sanctuary and the camping area can be very rutted and very slippery when wet (clay in soil). If you get stuck it could be difficult to get a wrecker out there to pull you out. We heard it from a local. We were there in March, so they hadn芒鈧劉t done maintenance to make it drivable yet. They promise to make improvements. We were not able to stay and were very worried about driving across a field to get back out. We made it okay.

For Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary: I love this place. I stayed here for their Howl-o-ween festival and it was a blast. This is all dry camping /boondocking. Water is not at the sites as there aren't really sites per se. There is a little convenience store with an astounding hardware selection within walking distance. The best thing about this place is hearing the howling wolves as you enjoy the astounding views of the Milky Way. Just magical. If you love wolves, spring for the photo tour. It's great.
