Chainsaw carver
For Leavenworth State Fishing Lake: We camped down by the lake not realizing there were camping spots just past us but we enjoyed it. Saw a no camping sign the next day and found the campground on our way out. Patrolled by police dpso it's safe. Beautiful lake and nice place!

For Leavenworth State Fishing Lake: This is a very nice lake for fishing and boating. The map of the campground is incorrect. Continue across the dam on the road shown. Follow it up a hill where you will find the actual primitive campsites with fire rings. I believe there is water, but I'm not sure. There is also an old WPA stone shelter.
