For BLM Sheldon Creek: Would not recommend for RVs - we made it in and out in our 22ft motorhome but it was not easy. After the winding one-lane paved road ends, the sites are an additional 7 miles down a very rough and washed out one-lane gravel road. Going into the campsite you have to hug a rock face on the passenger side to avoid a very steep dropoff on the drivers side, up to 100ft down in places. Lots of low-hanging branches and foliage overgrown into the road. The road is bumpy enough that those last 7 miles took about an hour to get through. Leaving the campsite we ended up head on with a semi truck and had to back up until we reached an area where he could get by us. Very cool views of the mountains from the road though, this unmaintained area would be a nice quiet site if you芒鈧劉re prepared for off-roading. There were fire rings and a building that was likely a bathroom. People live and farm on the land surrounding the recreation area. Don芒鈧劉t go to this site if your vehicle doesn't have at least 1ft of clearance from the ground, is especially long or wide, or if you芒鈧劉re afraid of tree branches scratching up your paint. Would be fine for trucks or vans.
