For Gold Rock Campground: Called ahead to make reservation, I thought it was strange that the lady didn’t take my information and CC. When I arrived a small pink shed was marked office no one was there. I drove around park large pot holes that take up the entire lane on the 1st curve past showers. Young person told me owner Carla lived in brick red house to knock on door…. No answer, we left and called 30 minutes later, no answer. Said to leave a message. Found a spot down the street. More expensive than the $38.00 a night I was quoted. But at least someone is there if a problem arises.

For Gold Rock Campground: Stayed here January 2021 fir 2 nights. Park wasQuiet and peaceful. A little dated. A few tiny homes. Very family friendly. Young lady (Carla ?) on the phone snd at sign was very pleasant, polite and respectful. Had full set up with 50A, sewer, water and cable. Everything worked fine! About 15 minutes from beach. 4 mikes from Walmart. Publix, McDonalds, and all the usual’s within a mile away. Will definitely stay there again.

For Gold Rock Campground: Came in for Biketoberfest. No elevated prices during the event and a nice ride up Route 1 to Daytona. Park is gravel roads, grass areas and live oak tree shaded in most areas. It has a couple long pull thrus which I appreciated since towing with a TandemTow. I did not use their bathhouse so can't comment but WiFi and cable are good. Residents friendly enough and park is pet friendly, a few owners let their dogs off leash, which I didn't like.
I would give it a higher rating if it had a pool and paved roads. I was in a Class A motorcoach and towing a long setup.

For Gold Rock Campground: Very big live oaks shady parking on some spaces. Shower and restrooms well kept. We are here in June.
There is not a working laundry here. Though there are some about a 1.5 away.
Wifi is good. Power and water are good.
