For Glen Echo Resort: The good
Lots of mature trees and good views, this location feels like mountain country.
Staff was great
General store and restaurant/pub on site was ok / beer prices were good
The meh
Our site (44) had a bad slope on 30% or better of it where it had obviously washed out down to the river
Sites 44-49 are stacked on top of each other; had there been anyone else there the vibe would have been totally different
Lots of VERY long term residents with... questionable taste
Overall, I give 3 stars as a good place to stay for off season.

For Glen Echo Resort: New owners have really turned this place around. They have seasonal sites that are kept very neat. Great location with RV and cabins right on the river. It also has a great country store, restaurant & bar. A must stay for any fulltimer.

For Glen Echo Resort: Sites are top of each other here. Step out your door and you are about stepping into the next rig. Staff is nice. Residents are tash collectors.
