For SARA Park Campground: Small city park with level back in sites all lined up off of what seems to be an abandoned airstrip. We had the place to ourselves and were able to let the dog run loose in the huge meadow across the road. No traffic as the sites are on a dead end access. No burrowing animals mentioned in the other review. Did not use the bathrooms/showers as we are self contained. The bathrooms did have combination keypad access. Nice beach and volleyball court. Good lake access from each site. Clean sandy shorelines. All the site water spigots had signs saying 芒鈧搉onpotable water芒鈧 which looked temporary as there appeared to be recent waterline excavating.

For SARA Park Campground: I would only stay here again as a last resort. Yes, you are on the water. However, the area is infested with burrowing animals, and restrooms were terrible. The facilites are not just for campers, they are open to the public. The restroom was connect to what looked like a locker room, and the showers were like high school showers with no privacy. We didn't use them in the evening for fear that someone would be hiding in there. It was creepy. Also, there were no trees in the sites for shade. $25 for that was way too much. The appropriate fee would have been $15. Maybe then there would have been more than 2 campers. I recommend you pass on this one.
