For Nails Creek - Bent Tree/Cedar Creek - Lake Somerville State Park: Excellent state park! Our second time visiting here. Campsites at Bent Tree are very spread out and private between wooded areas. Park is very well upkept and patrolled by park rangers and hosts. This is also an equestrian park, so some sites have a horse coral on them for a couple of horses!

For Nails Creek - Bent Tree/Cedar Creek - Lake Somerville State Park: We stayed in the water only site, used the new bathrooms next to the boat launch it芒鈧劉s was very clean, we basically had the park to ourselves besides the camp hosts. Very quiet great hiking, the water was high so lots of flooding. My husband enjoyed the trout pond he caught his limit everyday.lots of wildlife, the rangers patrol the area regularly, that was comforting. Our site was gravel but level, some of the water and electric sites are paved. We plan to return we loved it. Also the town of Brenham was so charming and free ice cream to boot.

For Nails Creek - Bent Tree/Cedar Creek - Lake Somerville State Park: Very nice State Park that is very well kept. There are new showers and bathrooms by the boat ramp, so make sure to visit that side of the park, they are very nice and accommodating. There is an RV area that is shaded and there芒鈧劉s one that芒鈧劉s not so much, hopefully they have the shaded ones open soon, it芒鈧劉s a bit rough in the mid day at this park with no shade. We will definitely visit again.
