For Poppys Pointe Family Resort: On June 8th I made a reservation at Poppy's Pointe Resort for all cabins plus 5 RV spots and the event center for a full day and one night for my wedding reception. On 7/25 I received a call from a man stating he was the new owner and that they require cabins be booked for a 2 night minimum. The man told me that I also did not pay enough of a deposit. I told him that I had done as I was asked and that the prior owner assisted in setting up my reservation knowing it would only be for one night. He sat in silence multiple times during our phone call as if he was waiting for ME to propose a solution. I told him that as a business owner he should not have called me seeking a resolution. He chose NOT to honor my reservation OR my deposit and instead chose to refund my deposit and cancel my reservation. TERRIBLE business practice and TERRIBLE customer service. I will NEVER go here and I will be sure to let EVERYONE know of their poor services.
