For South Forty Camp Resort: Nice clean campground and very reasonable rates, we were just overnighting but did walk around and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. They have a nice pool and our space was more than adequate and very level. Staff was very pleasant and for the price I can鈥檛 see how anyone could complain. Will definitely be on the use again list when traveling

For South Forty Camp Resort: I agree with Pat this place needs some serious TLC. We booked a week here to be close to friends. When we got here in our 43 ft fifth wheel toy hauler they wanted to put us on a site where our front door opened up to a huge construction hole as they were working on the lot next to us. I walked back to the office and the maintenance guy argued with me that it wasn芒鈧劉t a problem for our site but after he walked over to our rig and my husband he changed his tune. They moved us to a better site with some trees. The sites are spaced out and seems mostly level but nothing pretty to look at. They had a water leak and turned water off on our site for half a day but we were gone most of the time. The laundry room has four washers and four dryers but two washers and a dryer were broke. She said the washers were new last year but the yellowing inside them tells a different story. There is a pool we didn芒鈧劉t use and if you have kids some swings and arcades. It is close to Richmond but a couple of hours from Virginia Beach. It wasn芒鈧劉t the worse place to stay as we were gone a lot but we probably would not come back. If you just need a place to park and you are driving around they it is okay.

For South Forty Camp Resort: Quiet, pleasant, friendly. Great value for what they charged me, which wasn't much.

For South Forty Camp Resort: This campground needs some serious TLC. Location is convenient to I95 and down town Richmond Va. pool wasn芒鈧劉t opened yet and looked like it wouldn芒鈧劉t be for a while. Bathhouses are old and only cold water when I showered. Sites are decent sized but very few are level and the 30A service box had exposed wires. Water hook up leaked from fitting and flooded neighbors site. Bottom line the owner and caretakers are elderly and need some help. It could be a nice place.

For South Forty Camp Resort: Quick and easy access to interstate. Sites are good sized but not all are level. Facilities are older and need upgrades. Simple things like mowing the lawn or getting the trash dumpster emptied need to happen more often.
