For Windwhistle Campground: Nice, quiet campground. 2 clean pit toilets. Water was turned off. Only 2 other campers during our stay in mid Nov. Most sites level and shaded with junipers. Take the short nature walk. Drive to rim view points was well worth it. If full there are several boondocking sites available on road towards rims.

For Windwhistle Campground: Terrific campsites surrounded by slick rock bluffs. Looks like the campground was recently renovated with new gravel and site grading, fresh water tap and renewed toilets. East access to the Rim Area viewpoints.

For Windwhistle Campground: Spectacular location. Nice camp hosts, usual primitive toilets. Nice sites. Do not pass by the road to needle point overlook just a bit North & West of this CG. It is the equal of the Grand Canyon.
