For Lake Tawakoni State Park: Clean, quiet with large level sites and concrete pads. Showers/Restrooms were clean and they had heat on, this is December. Staff were all friendly. They were even out on Sunday fighting a losing battle against all the windblown leaves. 50 amp and water pressure was good. Even the fish were biting!

For Lake Tawakoni State Park: Stayed here one night as we were passing through. They close the gates at sundown and lock them. We didn芒鈧劉t have a reservation and thus no code to unlock. Thankfully someone was in front of us. We woke in the am to find a ticket on our window- didn芒鈧劉t even give us time to come and register. When we did go to the office they were rude, unorganized and trying to charge us double. The view wasn芒鈧劉t much to be seen and the grounds are unkept. The bathhouses were dirty and unisex. The campground in a weekend is FULL and not quiet. There was a scorpion waiting for us in the step in the morning. Neighbors were rude and the park staff basically stalked us to see that we paid our $$.

For Lake Tawakoni State Park: Clean, sites are very large and pretty level. Park was active but quiet.
