For Southern Star RV Park: Easy on and off I 10. All pull thru on a hard scrabble lot. Nothing fancy but safe and reasonable and perfect for an overnight. We always eat at the Cattlemen芒鈧劉s Cafe a block away. Better call ahead and reserve a spot now that Blue Origin is in Van Horn. Town is hopping!

For Southern Star RV Park: The site was easy to get into. Just took my two dogs out and there is dog poop everywhere. And I mean everywhere. So I took my dogs in a fenced in yard and discovered it is loaded!! with tiny burrs very spiky ones. Both dogs stopped dead holding their paws up in disstress. Then I checked my shoes and had 100芒鈧劉s of these spikes embedded in them. What a disaster. No we do not recommend to stay here after this visit.No dogs? It is an ok overnight stop.

For Southern Star RV Park: Next to freeway overnight stop. Any time there is trash all over and someone tearing apart a car engine best you芒鈧劉ll get is two stars.

For Southern Star RV Park: Stayed in December for one night. Returned in February for one night. Great stop over. Manager that checked us in extremely nice. Easy access with pull thru sites Can hear road noise from I10 but not a problem. Would return

For Southern Star RV Park: Very pleasant and helpful folks. Bath house is very clean and roomy. The park is well laid out with pull-through. We just stayed overnight, but the rec room is large and has a pool table. Also gave us a military discount since my husband is retired Army. You can hear the traffic on I-10, so if that芒鈧劉s a bother, you will need to bypass Van Horn. It芒鈧劉s all just adjacent to the highway.

For Southern Star RV Park: Came through I-10 looking for a place to stay and called these folks. We tented for the night, but with heat lightning in the area, the manager let us crash on their rec room floor. Good value for the money and the proprietors couldn't have been nicer. You can hear the freeway, but I think you probably can anywhere in Van Horn. Like I said, there's a small rec room, an office with ice, and clean restrooms with showers. Of course we've stayed in nicer places, but for the value and staff, I'll give this the best rating.
