For Texas State Railroad Campground: This is an older state park that does need some updating. Very quaint. There are two camping loops. One has full hookups and the other has water/electric. We stayed in the full hookup loop. Sites are somewhat small. All are pull through. Bathrooms have old fixtures but showers have good pressure and hot water. There is an old train engine that offers rides on a railroad track section in the park. Kids would love it. If in the area we would stay again.

For Texas State Railroad Campground: Old unkempt park needs a lot of work. Does not look like pictures, do not believe anything they say. Don't come in with over 35ft. Half moon sites and small. Pine needles all over roadway, can't tell from sites begin. Bathrooms and showers full of bugs and spiders, doesn't look like they cleaned in a month.
