For Seminole Canyon State Park: Seminole Canyon SP is a wonderful small park in a great setting. We were there only for one night. Convenient to HWY90, to or from Big Bend, the park has friendly staff and nice hiking trails. The bath house was 鈥渟tate park鈥� clean, and the small historical installation was really great. The absence of any privacy is, of course, the cost of a great high desert setting right off the river. Most site have sweeping views. Unfortunately, we didn鈥檛 get to explore the trails. We鈥檇 definitely stay there again.

For Seminole Canyon State Park: Beautiful Park, outstanding hiking trails with great views, and a guided pictograph tour that was very informative and interesting. Having said all that, the campground itself is mostly open, non level sites with just one bathhouse serving two loops. I wouldn鈥檛 want to be here during the summer, it is the desert. We stayed two nights and experienced 95% of what the park had to offer

For Seminole Canyon State Park: Beautiful campground in high desert . Small and quiet . We enjoyed our views . Mexico to our right . Restrooms impeccable Just a one night stopover on our way to Big Bend. Would love to stay longer next time . Site 1 was perfect .

For Seminole Canyon State Park: Very clean park and friendly staff. Several trails to hike or bike on (take plenty of water). Be sure to take one of the pictograph tours. Guides are very knowledgeable. Nice little museum at park headquarters. Stayed her in April 2022, we will definitely come back again. Stayed two nights on our way to Big Bend.

For Seminole Canyon State Park: FYI, this campground is closed due to construction until summer 2020. We stopped by 2/9/2020. Take the canyon tour if you can though, it芒鈧劉s very interesting.

For Seminole Canyon State Park: A gem in the Texas State Parks system, Seminole Canyon preserves priceless ancient rock art, and offers gorgeous views of the Rio Grande from the top of high canyon walls. It芒鈧劉s quiet and mostly dark at night but for the glow over Del Rio, 30 miles away. The awesome guided tour is led by experts in ancient rock art. The trails are all worth walking, especially the canyon rim trail, which is rough in places but nothing strenuous. Each offers views to remember. The campground and wash house are clean. Do not expect trees, but there are covered picnic tables for shade on the higher campground, which offers electricity and water, as well as water-only sites. In September, it芒鈧劉s hot and windy and few people are here. In fact, I was the only camper for days. In April, it was less hot, still windy, and full of birds. Fill up your gas tank in Del Rio from the east, or Sanderson from the west.

For Seminole Canyon State Park: Beautiful and very quiet park. Unbelievable views from our site. Pictograph guided tour into the Canyon was spectacular. Visiting nearby Langtry is worth it to relive an era of the great American West and to learn about Judge Roy Bean, 芒鈧搕he law west of the Pecos 芒鈧�. If you are heading from or to Big Bend, this is a place to pause.
