For Elk Mountain Campground - Wind Cave National Park: The campground at Wind Cave NP is wonderful. The restrooms are clean and the sites are well-maintained. We stayed there for four days and it was very quiet each night. There is plenty of room in each site and lots of space between sites. My only negatives would be that there is no hot water in the bathrooms and the water had a VERY strong chlorine taste, so we brought in our own drinking water.

For Elk Mountain Campground - Wind Cave National Park: Stayed in July 2017 with a 25' TT. Nice CG, quiet with clean restrooms. Not sure why it never fills. No cell service, but wifi at the visitor center.

For Elk Mountain Campground - Wind Cave National Park: Nice campground in a great location, just a mile or so from the NP Visitor Center. Well appointed sites with spotless bathrooms. A nice firewood station at the entrance and not crowded. The bison and elk were visitors in the evening and it was very quiet!

For Elk Mountain Campground - Wind Cave National Park: Nice quiet campground. Plenty of open sites in mid-August - put would not feel crowded even when full.
