For Whistler Gulch RV Park and Campground: We've stay here before and liked the trolley ride to town. The guy at the desk has always been friendly . The main bathrooms/showers by the office are nice.This time the camp was full during Sturgis week. We were camped farther from the office. That end of camp ,with several tenters and trailers shared ONE TOILET,that had no soap and no way to dry your hands,for the 2 days we were there. Because of Sturgis prices were very high, but I don't think that's why there were so many empty sites. Stay by the office or else.

For Whistler Gulch RV Park and Campground: The owner, Tom Blair, went the extra mile for us. We stayed there in October,2013, right after some freak blizzards. He called me and assured us that he would be open for us. We arrived in the snow and were the only campers in the whole park! He kept the bathrooms open and heated. Tom also acted as our tour guide, giving us great tips on where to go. Being that he used to be the Mayor of Deadwood he tells great tales about the area.
